While visiting family in Victoria, I had a medical issue and made an appointment the day before (provided details, insurance info). Was asked to arrive 15 min before appt time to complete registration, which I did.. Upon arrival I was the only one in the waiting room, filled out seven pages of forms. Then taken to an intake room and completed more information for their online system. Next was taken to an exam room where I waited and waited. After an hour I opened the exam room door thinking they had forgotten I was there. After 10 more minutes a nurse practitioner walks in and asks "Why are you here today?" Seriously? I was feeling ill, had been waiting over an hour after my designated appointment time and they had not even read the details I had provided earlier. Jeez. Am not normally a complainer, and understand recent challenges in healthcare providers, but not at all happy with this experience. read more

I went on 11/21/20 to get the Covid test I never got my results every time I call I never can get through my sis paid 122 and same no results today I look at my checking account there was a deposit for $15 from Detar I guess for not getting my results doesn't my sister get her money back too what about the labs that we going to get charged? This place is amazing. A bit of a wait if they are busy. I recommend setting an appointment on the website. You are the biggest factor in your care here. Make sure to be honest and tell them everthing. Strong eye contact and sincerity in their eyes, help put me at ease and make me feel like I'm in good hands. Been to a few other places in town that don't look their patients in the eyes and just pushing buttons on their laptops, basically just trying to get to the next patient. A number or a real person that doesn't feel good and needs help? This place gets that clear. Don't wanna say I enjoy going here because when I do I'm sick. But, I feel the staff puts the human factor in it and does what they can to make me feel better. read more

I was really nervous about going because I have bad lungs, but I was feeling terrible. I was the only person in the waiting room, and the staff was great. They really listened to me and seemed concerned unlike my usual doctors. This will be my new place even though it's farther from my house. read more
