This clinic had my mother in tears after returning the next day with an eye infection caused by the multiple "tests" they did on her the previous day. She went there to check the health of her eyes due to her being at risk for glaucoma and cataracts, she allowed them to perform multiple tests. Also going into that appointment her eyes had no irritation or redness. The next morning she woke up with pain and redness to her eye. When she went back they demanded she pay another copay to be seen when the redness and irritation was clearly related to how they handled her eyes during the testing the previous day. She was crying because they refused to even evaluate the issue and she did not feel it was right for them to charge her when they should have taken accountability for obviously being responsible for what happened to her eye. These people have no decency or compassion for theirs patients. Please do yourself a favor and find another optometrist. read more

Why do you make an appointment and still have to wait over an hour and not be called back??? It is extremely frustrating considering my time is valuable too, but they don't care about that. I would rather spend my money somewhere else where they appreciate the customers. read more

There is a saying back in the day. Don't let the hand shack and smile fool you. Before you leave the Hydia on ordering glasses her all balances are complete you owe nothing, take a picture of the handwritten form you sign as final. When your glasses are ready hey call you and tell you that I had a balance and still owe money on the second pair of glasses after paying her what was quoted. To make matters worst the new clerk would not let me confront Hydia on why i stilled owed money when Hydia calefied all was paid in full. She showed what my insurance was going to pay on the big screen to me and my wife. So I , paid what was owed, Shaked her hand, got my receipt and me and my wife walked out of the Airline facility. Two weeks later I got a call that my glasses were ready and I need to pay the remaining balance. So when I got there the other manager filled out a new form wanted me to sign iot for their justification to over charge me for the balance . Word up its not over yet. On November 18th 2022 I went there because I had an eye appointment set by the VA . While I was there I had a lot of allergy issues . They immediately put me in a room when I got there for my appointment I had mentioned that the room was a little stuffy and my allergies were really bad and I needed some air circulation they accommodated me without any delay after they did some tests on my eyes they switched me to a room that had a fan in it for me . During the testing I was struggling with my allergies and they were very very patient with me . Had I would have had to deal with me that day I would have been irritated but they were very professional very courteous and very cheerful read more

No recent reviews because they are awful! Read reviews on Facebook to se how bad it is. On time for a 440 appointment and I walked out at 610 and they shrugged when I said I was leaving as did my husband who had a 5pm appointment. No excuse just "ok" stunningly bad customer service. They sent us more than 6 reminders via text and email to be on time. Ridiculous Dr. Baker reaches out and made things right, I will give them an optimistic 3 stars and see how the glasses feel and update again. read more

First off let me start off by saying this is Advanced Vision Care, not cheap side of the road I just need a prescription for glasses care. With that off my chest, Advanced Vision Care offers one of the best, comprehensive, through, eye exam that you can get in Victoria. The scheduling is easy, online or over the phone. The receptionist is helpful, the nurses are knowledgeable and personal and the Doctors actually seem like they want to talk to you. I have had the pleasure of getting my eyes examined twice by Dr. Baker and my husband has had one exam by the male Doctor (I know his name starts with an F). The first time was a pleasurable experience, so much that I recommended them to everyone I knew. The second was just as good as the first, the only difference being the openness of the price and produces to be done that day. I love using Dr. Baker for my children and for my self for our eye care!! We have always been satisfied with our exams, prescriptions and service! They usually have the contacts in stock which is convenient! The only thing negative I could say is the glasses are VERY pricey compared to other places and I don't believe they have a one hour service either. But as far as the examination it was great! Also the staff is quite helpful!! read more

Dr. Valerie Baker did a very good job taking care of my eye examination and my prescription for trifocal lenses. I had not seen a eye doctor for ten years. She did not give me a hard time; and her staff is very helpful too. Now I wish I had done this earlier . But I am very glad to have visited Dr. Baker. read more

Dr. Baker and her staff go above and beyond what you would expect. They explain everything, including your insurance coverage, very throroughly. The staff is welcoming and knowledgeable, and Dr. Baker is extremely good at what she does. Their scheduling is amazing, as they have multiple ways to schedule an appointment. They send multiple reminders as well, so you never miss an appointment. Overall, an amazing doctors office. read more
