Our 2 boys have been going here for just about a year and we absolutely love the training that they have received. Our youngest attends the little dragons class and our eldest attends the beginners class so weve been able to have a good chance to see how both programs operate. The boys really look forward to each class and we are so happy with how they have been progressing. Led by Sensi Sheri and Sensi Trey, you can really tell they genuinely care about all their students and are passionate about passing along their knowledge to their students. I also love how they incorporate the sempai's which helps instill a teaching culture within the senior students while at the same time teaches them how to be good role models. Each kids class is kept energetic and i enjoy how it ends with a fun game that the students really enjoy. They also host fun events for their students around the holidays which also adds to the wonderful culture they have created in the school. There's a nice, small area with chairs on the other side of a windowed wall where parents and friends can sit and observe. The children's class we saw was about an hour long. They also offer teen and adult classes, too. We saw a classmate achieve another belt level -- and what he went through. It gave us an idea of what our grandson had to do to achieve his various colored belts and stripes. It was so nice to see the discipline of everyone; the respect given to the teachers. And the range of ages in the class. As others have said, these classes are not only for discipline and strength training, but also for building confidence. The students are well disciplined and respectful to the facility and each other. This evening's exercises were abbreviated due to one student's graduation session and moving up one belt. One can see the maturity and development guided by the Sensei working on the mats with them. Lots of proud parents!
