I'm ok with a bit of that, but when you charge $120 for 3 inch line work I'm a bit hesitant. I understand, Noah, you have children to support and you've just opened your own studio. A gentle word of advice, listen maybe a bit more to customers. You have the privilege to display your incredible talent on a living canvas. Please be more accommodating. My short term memory is bad. As said above, I've had more tattoo experiences. You did speak with me about placement. Responding angrily to reviewing a reflects badly on business. Thank you.

I recently got tattooed at Crawling Squid by Evan Barry…read more The facilities are super clean, the staff is super friendly and make you feel comfortable and right at home. My tattoo was a traditional tattoo done in the traditional "Sailor Jerry" style, which Evan Barry excels at. He was patient, asked if and when I needed a break, and it was really comfortable and pleasant, as pleasant as getting a tattoo could be. It was obvious from the meticulous way he worked that he wanted the tattoo to be perfect. And it was! I now have an amazing tattoo, which I got at a really great price, and had a really great experience. I'm already contemplating the next piece and am excited to head back to Crawling Squid for more great work. Whether it's your first tattoo, or like me, you're getting more, Crawling Squid is the place to do it.

I asked him questions and he answered all of them capably and gave his own recommendations about what would look good. I really appreciated him applying the breathable clear bandage which allowed it to heal super quickly. The price was much lower than what I expected, but maybe I'd forgotten how much tattoos cost since my last tattoo a few years ago. I even came back and asked to add a small star to the middle of my tattoo and he was more than willing to add it right on the spot. Now that's good customer service! Overall, I had a great experience and I might want to fly back to AZ if I ever decide to get another tattoo!

For 2 small very simple designs plus 1 finger tattoo, it was $250. We were both done in 45 minutes. Boston Rogoz is exactly whom I was looking for, for many years. Not only did I have an awful tattoo…read morefrom my time in Korea in 1992, I am a breast cancer survivor. When you are finished with all the treatments from breast cancer, the scars remain, and are a constant reminder of all that you went through. Not just the physical scars, but the psychologically ones as well. Both fade with time - but the physical ones can be rather unsightly, and detrimental to your psyche. Between the biopsy, lumpectomy, bilateral mastectomy, and then the reconstructive surgeries (x3) my boobs looked fantastic...when clothed. After my mom died last October, I knew I wanted a tattoo to represent her and my dad. It didn't take long for me to decide that after 19 years, it was about time I did something for myself as well. So...I have Swallows represent my parents, and the pink ribbon that they are holding follows the line of my scars. No longer are they red and ugly, and no longer do I feel as though I am damaged goods. Thank you Boston Michael Rogoz for your gentle demeanor, and for building a fort for my private sessions.

The tattoo shop itself has a strong community feel, the artists are like family and they let you into that even as a customer! I found myself chatting with the other artists and even other customers, checking out each others' ink. I've gotten tattooed before at another shop and I have to say the bed I was laying on this time was WORLDS better than the last, it was extremely comfortable. Everything felt very clean, but not sterile like a doctor's office! The shop is beautiful, the walls are filled with stencils, and the artists all have their own stations decorated. Love the location too, right on Central and by other awesome local businesses. I will definitely be back!
