be aware of this place, the charge my insurance and collect on copays; they had offered a device (mouthpiece) that did not work they said I would get half my money if it didn't work; it only DID NOT WORK, but it broke and they kept making money off of the insurance; all I want is my $1,200.00 back and they can have their faulty excite piece back; but they don't return my calls, emails texts or anything that has to do with my refund... I will call my insurance and report it as insurance fraud. the last time they called me it had nothing to do with CPAP, but they billed my insurance for a visit and now they want a copay. they can also be reported to the BBB (Better Business Bureau). they should do better business and be more honest. read more

Horrible follow-through. Was supposed to get a c-pap machine months ago. Contacted this place after at-home sleep study wondering what happened the first time and they told me to contact the distributor. Distributor told me to contact this clinic. I did both, and two months later, nothing has happened. I'll have to look for another clinic since I wasted my time working with this place. read more

Went through a sleep study with them and results via video conference. It was determined I needed a CPAP and they ordered it, This was March 2023. Never heard another word from them. Would not return calls or answer email. Finally in Dec 2025 I did another sleep study (different company) and got my CPAP in Feb 2026. Also, Sehatu said I was severe OSA (47 per hour) and the in lab sleep study had me a mild OSA, 14.2. Don't know why they ghosted me but they are terrible in my mind. read more

Not impressed. I had a VIDEO consult in January after an IN-HOME sleep study. My options were a sleep monitoring device that they sell or I should go see someone else for a night guard. This place is a terrible, or perhaps I'm just tired. I paid out of pocket for a sleep study, and it turned out to be a test of my follow up game. They never called me about a consultation, I had to call to follow up. They never called me about getting a test done, I had to call to follow up. I even had to call them to meet with the doctor to get my results. Even when they scheduled my doctor results appt, they never sent me a link (they like to do everything on Zoom here). So I had to call them within 1 minute of my appt to ask them what to do! Once I finally met with the doctor he was trying to get me to pay for more testing and sign up for his meditation class. So I thought this would be a great opportunity to tell him all the time and effort I had to put in just to get to this point (assuming he cared or perhaps he didn't know his office staff was dropping the ball). He started with making the excuse that insurance takes a long time, so of course I told him I paid out of pocket. Then he decided to start deflecting the blame on other people. I just wanted him to own it and say sorry, but he did everything but that. The doctor took no responsibility for his own office, he said I need to talk to his office manager. At the end of the call he told me he would send me my sleep results to my email. Take a wild guess what happened? Nobody sent the results! So I had to make one last call. Honestly, don't waste your time. The doctor will just tell you to enroll in his meditation class, to buy supplements from him (Relax+) and to do more expensive testing. I just summed up your results appointment for you. That's assuming you make it that far in the process without just giving up. read more

UPDATED: THE AUDACITY IS UNMATCHED, wow oh wow. Ok let's address your lies in parts, shall we? By the way, I have records of everything, and the Zoom was recorded. ONE: NO NOTHING OF THE SORT WAS RELAYED TO ME. Personal emergency? Seriously?? Cute attempt, but no. Whoever I spoke to said, "well our ZocDoc shows appointments, but that doesn't mean they're available." TWO: I wasn't even aware of the emails, as they were unfortunately automatically flagged as Spam-- fine, that's not your fault. However, nobody told me over the phone throughout any of our numerous calls that I had to fill any forms before my call with the doctor. Again, no one mentioned ANYTHING about needing to complete any forms before our appointment. Not to mention, the form asked me about my symptoms, history, and *cc info* (super shady- why you should have an empty card for such situations). The doctor was going to discuss my symptoms and history with me, no? But I digress. Because I would've had no problem sending the forms if you had informed of them before our RESCHEDULED appointment. THREE: "By the time you completed the form, your appointment time had long passed" ... *long passed* ... long passed? Excuse me, but I literally sent it in within 15 minutes. (pictures below) The lying is appalling. FOUR: Nope. NOPE. Literally been on ZocDoc since 2014, and have booked hundreds of appointments through it. Everything from Dermatologists to Endo to Psych. Dozens of doctor's offices. Never once has this ever been an issue. More lies... Unbelievable. Let me make it clear for anyone who's not familiar with the app: ZocDoc DOES show real-time appointment availability. Always has. Still does, according to the other 3 appointments I booked just last week. See- THAT real-time feature is precisely what make it so useful and reliable. But thanks for the condescending comment: "We're sorry you were led to believe" *states something that is a clear, undeniable fact* .. I'm speechless. But I'm going to break this one down even more. "ZocDoc does not enable an integration with the EHR, which is where patient medical records and appointment times are documented." Maybe it doesn't do it automatically for your system. I'm sorry. Maybe you are expected to do it manually? All I know is that this has never been an issue with any other appointments I have booked. In my experience, this is how it goes with ZocDoc: I book the appointment, it's 'Pending' for awhile, and within 24 hours- it gets confirmed. If it doesn't get confirmed, it's because the doctor's office has follow-up questions before I can come in. But not once, has it been an issue that the time I selected is not available. And I always end up meeting the doctor at that appointed time (unless of course, there's any cancellations due to other circumstances). "This is a known problem with ZocDoc" No it's not. The audacity to indicate that it's a *known* problem baffles me, but at this point I shouldn't be surprised that rather than addressing a potential patient's issues-- you instead choose to *attempt* to invalidate and dismiss her concerns. "Booking an appointment in the next 2 hours with a specialist is unlikely..." I don't even know where this came from. Who tried to book an appointment within 2 hours? Cause it's not me. FIVE: This one is especially funny. I "denied" it because I'm unavailable on Monday. So glad you mentioned this though, in your words!! Because below you'll find a picture of all the appointments they have listed for tomorrow on ZocDoc. Why are appointments showing as available if they're not available!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is deceiving. And since you're attempting to blame ZocDoc for this, I'll go ahead and assume that you are being intentionally misleading. Not cool. SIX: Yes, I did. And I got a notification of your response as I was typing this - I'm about to go update my review on Google as well. By the way, I also posted this review on ZocDoc And certainly, when you reply with your list of lies, I'll update my response there too. And after this disgusting attempt to discredit my experience and a blatant disregard for my concerns, I will also be sharing this review, in addition to your response, on other platforms as well. If I could give 0 stars I would. My husband has been waiting for his sleep study results for a month.... finally had his ' google meet' appointment today, Sept 6th! In the meeting they said The study resulted in no data being recorded & he needs to come in for a new sleep study test. (Not sure why this took them a month to tell us & why we had an appt for it!) Told him they'd call him to set up Another appointment. We're not holding our breath since he had to physically go in 3 times to speak with someone because he couldn't get the same story twice from anyone he spoke with... (on the rare occasion they answered the phone.) They forgot paperwork, they lost paperwork, tried to blame Sutter for not giving them the information, However, Sutter had several copies of the information that was sent multiple times to their office. One issue after another to even GET the appt! Long story short... We were referred to this place on May 9. Still no sleep study results and now waiting for another appointment to have the sleep study redone! He has severe sleep apnea, tested through Kaiser in 2020! He could be dead by the time this place gets done screwing around! If Sutter refers you here or anyone refers you here... Ask for a different place! This place is terrible! They've been clowning around since they got the referral on May 9! read more

I received an email from the front office containing an attachment I could not open. I tried calling three days in a row, no one answered the phone and the mailbox was full so I couldn't leave a message. I sent two emails explaining that I couldn't read the attachment and I didn't know what they were trying to communicate to me. So frustrating. I showed up for my in-office appointment and the young lady at the front desk said we sent you an email changing your appointment to a zoom call. I asked her if they ever answer their phone or respond to emails and she rudely said "We do what we can". Totally unacceptable. Rude, ineffective front desk staff. read more

The one time I spoke with the doctor he was helpful and patient. Some things that are really bothersome to me and that you should know before going here are: 1. When you go into the office you may here the calls and virtual appointments from other patients. When I asked about why is everyone on speaker phone I was told "it's not speaker phone. It's a zoom meeting." The point being that there is the expectation of privacy, but while I was waiting I was entertained by a man talking to them about his bill and his insurance, and by the amount of information he was providing, he had no idea that it wasn't a private phone call with the front desk. I thought back to the questions I had been asked and personal information I had provided and couldn't help but wonder who had heard. 2. We received an invoice. Called the number on the invoice and no one answered. We forgot about it. We received another invoice. Called the number on the invoice and no one answered. We contacted the office and found how to pay via an email link. We paid that day. The following month, we received an invoice "final notice" and tried to contact the front office. The message for the office now says basically that no one is in the office and to leave a message, use the online chat or text this number. I left a message and still have not had a call back. I waited for more than 30 mins on the online chat without getting a single reply and closed the window. I texted the number and still haven't gotten a reply. I called the number on the bill and no one answered. It just rings until it disconnects. 3. I was told that this would be a lab environment where they observe your sleep. When I went to my first virtual appointment they explained there are two levels of observation. They told me to come to the office (which reminded me of a call center) and pick up the device. That turned out to be an something you clip and tape on to your finger and use your phone to download an app. They had me wear it for 2 days. The results were 1 day was inconclusive, and the 2nd day was borderline sleep apnea. I felt like the business and testing or "sleep study" part of this experience was a rip off and a waste of my time. The short call with the doctor (which was hopefully private but there is no way to know) was good information about melatonin and eating habits. After feeling like I was ripped off and paying for it, now I can't even contact them to tell them we already paid. My main concern is how small places like this sell your account to a collection agency which takes years to get off your credit report. (The amount paid was only $50.) read more

In the beginning everything seemed to be time sensitive, example being forms needed to be completed by a certain date because its urgent. But I got the sense they use the phone as a way to buffer actual live interaction, and then social media communications set expectations that didn't match actuals. I worked through all that and tests, cognitive assessment, 30 minute Dr. zoom call, another call with a PA to get a diagnosis that I have sleep apnea, which I knew. So I need a CPAP machine like 98% of their patients but here's the thing, machines aren't available because of chip shortages. Now you'll say that's not their fault, but not telling me upfront is their fault. It's two months and waiting and the solution is they provide me the phone # of the manufacturer. Find a different provider for your sleep concerns. read more

Had an excellent experience with Dr. and his PA. Friendly front desk staff and they have Zoom consults now with Covid so it's makes it easy to get the care you need. Doctor downloaded the data from my Bipap machine and gave me a full analysis of my data. I've seen a couple of sleep physicians but Dr Khan is the first to tell me that the structure of my jaw, mouth, etc. makes me prone to Apnea. I no longer beat myself up for trying to lose weight to 'reduce apnea' but now it's just for health reasons. That was needed information for me as a patient! read more

On my first appointment with the doctor, I felt he wasn't listening to me. I tried to give him the history of my insomnia but he would cut me off and tell me what he thought was the issue before I was done explaining my medical history (he kept going back to "racing thoughts" as the cause for my insomnia). I told him I drive for work and he immediately told me that it was like driving drunk if I'm not fully rested, but I don't ever drive when I'm not rested. We didn't go over diet, we didn't talk about my reactive blood sugar (I've been prediabetic in the past), which are all things that can play a role in insomnia. The questions he asked seemed to be set-up so he can recommend his meditation classes - which is good for minds that race. While I am a huge fan of meditation and believe in it's benefits, I do not believe this doctor had my best interests in mind due to the reasons listed above. I have seen 20+ doctors for my unsolvable insomnia, so I have a lot of experience with doctors' bedside manner. He made me feel uncomfortable, uneducated and overall not cared for. I finished the appointment then attended the class to give him a fair chance. The meditation class was good and interactive but I didn't feel that there was much individual care. I couldn't bare to go back knowing how he spoke to me during the initial consult. I feel bad for writing this review because I don't want to be the reason a business is affected but this is my honest account, and first impressions are obviously lasting. I hope that you have a different experience than I did. read more

We were so optimistic when my daughter saw Dr.Khan after 13 years of sleep issues. She was to have a sleep study. It's been 6 months and I've called 4 times to find out when and no calls have been returned ever. Complete waste of $595 for a 20 minute talk from the doctor with no results or follow up. It was an excellent experience to meet and work with Dr. Amer Kahn for my sleep study. Dr. Kahn is extremely knowledgeable regarding sleep apnea and how to help his patients get the correct study and c-pap machine. He spends the time one needs and answers any and all questions you may have regarding your sleep. I never felt rushed, he always gave me the time I needed. His explanations were very precise and helpful to me to understand my sleep study test. The first one I had, out of state, never really went over the results with me. It was wonderful to be able to sit down and discuss the test and how to help me order my supplies needed, which is so important, as they can be hard to obtain. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Kahn and his staff. The office staff was just wonderful and so helpful to me setting up appointments, calling to confirm, and making sure Dr. Kahn kept in touch with follow-up appointments. They are very cheerful and willing to help whenever possible. If you want the best results for your sleep apnea, I highly recommend Dr. Kahn.
