Beef Carnitas empanada

Amazing cafe with a wide variety of empanadas and all my favourite pastries (eg alfajores and tres leches cake). The espresso was fantastic as well!!

Nicaraguan inspired coffee house! Fresh coffee beans roasted and ground on the spot for a delicious, stronger than average, brewed cup. The fun and abstract art work adds a nice touch to this inviting shop. Nice to see a Cental/South American inspired items such as empanadas, churro, flan and alfajores.

Brampton compared to MANY similar size and smaller Ontario cities, does not have a 'great' downtown... Coffee shops like this HELP. Good cookies also!!

Churro latte iced

This is located in the corner of downtown Brampton. They offer a variety of drinks and baked goods. I got the iced churro latte and it was really good for the hot summer day. Check it out!

Conveniently located for pedestrians and cyclists on Main just north of Queen in the four corners area. Recently opened. The inerior is modern, clean, and boasts plenty of seating (mostly at the back). The family that owns this are super nice and they get their coffee beans direct from the farmers in Nicaragua as they know them personally. They have a tasty drip coffee blend, cappuccinos, deserts, and empanadas (different kinds including spinach). I am stoked that there is a local coffee shop of this quality in the area. Note that they close at 3 PM on Saturdays when there is a farmers market.

Coffee!

Love this little "four corners" gem in Brampton! Delicious coffee, yummy empanadas (especially the bean & cheese!) I got a kale power bowl today and that was so good as well! They literally never let me down. The staff is always very sweet & friendly too! Like you can't go wrong. Another bonus is that it's not overly packed like other chain coffee places near by. Which is a great feature when you have anxiety about crowded places. To wrap this up, it's a place not to be missed. A win win all around!

Great, cozy place in downtown Brampton. Coffee had a nice acidity that I really liked. I got an iced latte some empanadas and three truffles that were both delicious. Empanadas came with complimentary mayo hot sauce.

I had mocha here, it was rich and flavourful mocha I ever had. They had new desserts and snacks from Latin America, which I am bound to come back and taste. This is not a typical chain coffee shops, it is unique.

I had the best iced latte and churro I've ever had in Canada here. This is a true gem in Brampton and my personal go-to.

Excellent in every way. Great lattes, food and service in a cool setting. One of the few things still good about downtown Brampton.

Great coffee. The classic small independent who is directly involved in the selection and roasting to find his taste.

Have you ever found a restaurant that was so good that you were afraid to tell people about it in…read morecase it got so popular you'd never find a table next time you went? This is such a restaurant. But for the greater good, and because it totally deserves to be hyped up, I'm gonna share this gem with you! Granted, I have only been here once and I had never had Nicaraguan food before but everything this restaurant served up from drinks to appetizers to mains to dessert was unbelievable. It may look like nothing special on paper and even look understated on the plate but once it's in your mouth your tastebuds are in for a ride! Let me explain a bit more...the "tacos" look like a sundae collided with a salad on the plate but when you break it up and try it the crunch and the sweet and the sour just works like magic! I ordered the Churrasco but swapped out the mashed potato with rice and beans - how the Nicaraguans eat it I was told - and boy was I glad I listened! I have never downed so much rice and beans so quickly in my life; normally I avoid them so that's testament to how tasty it was. 3 out of all 3 of the desserts were delicious but the standout favourite among my party was surprisingly the cheesecake, so don't knock it till you try it. The atmosphere is lively and colourful, and the service was great too! That's it; I think I've shared enough - you're welcome

It was my first time trying Nicaraguan food, and I honestly really enjoyed it. I came here with…read morefriends to try a Nicaraguan restaurant that has been open in Toronto for more than 20 years, which already felt like a very good sign. The restaurant stayed busy throughout dinner, with a steady flow of customers coming in, and after the meal I could understand why. We started with the soup of the day, which was an oxtail soup. It tasted very fresh, rich, and comforting, with a lovely fragrance that made it especially satisfying. For the main course, we ordered the fish of the day, a whole fried sea bass, and it was absolutely delicious. The fish was crispy outside, tender inside, and full of flavor without feeling heavy. It also came with fried plantains, which were such a nice touch and made the meal feel even more special. Overall, this was a wonderful first experience with Nicaraguan cuisine, and definitely a place I would happily come back to.
