This is a boutique style rectangle shop in downtown Claremont... could easily stand alone like Kars Sweets in East Hollywood in my opinion. The sandwich I tried is a close compare in quality... and large enough for two people. Their frozen acai cups with all the toppings just fantastic! This place is Unique out here... with an interesting menu and cool owner! Great specialty hot cocoas. Big plus for the premium products available for purchase that Im sure are difficult to find elsewhere.

They have a wide variety of candies, including British and some chamoy/tajin offerings. I found some interesting versions of already beloved candy. What caused me to rate them a three is the massive bulk candy wall which was $16.95/lb. I chose a few options to sample with the intention of returning if the options were fresh. I got four types - green paint ball, buttered popcorn jelly belly, cherry strips, and blue raspberry strips. THEY ARE ALL STALE, some so stale they're inedible. This tells me that the store doesn't refresh the bins or clean them much. For that reason alone, I'd find my candy elsewhere.

Unfortunately, their shipment was delayed en route by UPS and I was going to receive them a day too late for the party. After I left the business a message, Jerry called back and let me know that they would send me another fresh batch at no extra cost to me, via Uber eats (I live about 25 miles away from them). And sure enough, the package arrived within the next couple of hours. It was incredible and it made my preschooler very happy! She shared the lollipops with all her classmates today and enjoyed one herself. They taste delicious and the look/finish is impeccable. That being said, I'm really happy that search led me to them because they're a great option even if you're not looking for all that. I love these custom, fresh-to-order candies. They actually were able to do cherry with our choice of stars and YES THEY TASTE GOOD. Huge hit with the kiddos. They're pretty big, dense lollipops and they were ready (for pickup) within a couple days of ordering. Way ahead of schedule. I highly recommend going with Sparko sweets. If you have any questions just email them- they are super quick & responsive!

There are lots of varieties of dried plums, prunes, and sugary coated hawthorne fruit. Along with that, there's the selections of dried beef, pork, and fish jerkies. Other dried items include taro chips and sweet potato chips. The back wall holds tubs with the "wet" fruits of mango and plums. And, a few tubs hold individually wrapped candies--sesame, butter, and other flavors. Don't worry if you don't know what you want, the ladies will pretty much let you try them all! With all the tubs of snacks, the only thing you have to do is point and tell them how much you want in a bag. It sells by the pound--ranging from $8 to $16 (meats are more expensive), a bit pricey. But it's definately a bigger and fresher selection than what you'd find in the isles of 99 ranch market. One thing to be aware of, even if you tell them you only want a pound, they tend to over fill it. And unless you specifically tell them you don't want it all, they'll just seal the bag and charge you (hence no five stars). But after you purchase it, they usually throw in a few extra of the individually wrapped candies in your bag. Overall, everything tastes pretty great --it totally depends on what you prefer (salty, sweet, sour, crunchy snacks)--they've got it all.

I believe it was about $12 a pound and true to Jenny's statement - they did over fill it. However, they asked me if it was ok or if I'd like to take some out. While appreciated I didn't really want to make her walk over and adjust the weight - especially since I'd have no trouble eating it all ^_^ This is a slightly smaller version of an identical store I used to visit in LA's Chinatown (I want to say off of Broadway) but for the life of me I can't remember the name!

This looked like a big ol' farm store and from the second I saw it, I was pretty darn excited. This large store features ample parking, tables outside, and a petting zoo that didn't actually have any animals, but maybe they were just inside. The shop itself is full of baked goods, clothing, drinks, and literally everything else you can usually find at a farm style store. I was super tempted to pick up a bunch of chocolate when walking around, but since it was pretty hot outside I had to settle for the farms own Orange Juice and a big fat rice crispy treat with chocolate and pretzel on top. The orange juice was OH SO refreshing on this hot day and the rice crispy treat was really good as well. Overall, The Cal Poly Pomona Farm Store is a great place to stop and pick up a few things. I really liked the two things I picked up and I can definitely see stopping back here the next time i'm in Pomona!

We were interest in seeing what they had in store, since we've never stopped by before. We parks on the grass field and walked towards the vendors first. We bought some fruits and vegetables from the student farm stand (what a steal!) and it was a great feeling knowing that we were supporting the Cal Poly Pomona students. The produce was grown and picked by the CPP students. We also were able to purchase honey from CPP; the honey was produced at the school and jarred by students. There were about 8 food trucks. After we took a walk around, we went into the farm store. It was packed with people and the line was snaked around the interior of the store. I've never seen so many varieties of tomato plants or this many people interested in purchasing plants. We didn't walk away with a tomato plant this time around, but perhaps next time. It was lovely experience.
