They were very accommodating and had amazing customer service. The tour was absolutely amazing. Mink was our tour guide and Kim joined us after our second stop. They were both very knowledgeable and helped us to navigate all the amazing places in China Town. Their vision of bringing people together through food is truly amazing. Both Mink and Kim are passionate about their mission. They know all of the great spots and help you to feel more confident in China Town. Definitely doing another tour with them. This is a must!

If you need to use the restroom before the Tour, use the one in the Betsy Ross House because the one in the Starbucks across the street didn't have any toilet paper. We had a very big group but Toni kept us all together. She is such a gem - a much better storyteller than the Tour guide from the Independence Hall. This tour with Toni made up for the anticlimactic one from the Independence Hall. She was very thoughtful and made sure we always stopped in the shade since it was a very hot day. Her stories were entertaining and engaging. I loved all the historical snippets she'd give us about the timeperiod of the founding fathers. We got so lucky because Benjamin Franklin's printing press was finally opened after a 10-year closure. Such a great addition to The Tour. You donate whatever you want at the end and I would highly recommend it if you're in Philly.

We started at the Betsy Ross house where we stayed outside for about 15 minutes. We went to elfreth's alley where we spent close to 30 minutes learning about the Trinity style architecture and lots more. We walked to the courtyard of the Ben Franklin museum. He also gave us the lowdown on where to go for the best cheesesteaks. It's pay what you wish and overall gives a great introduction to the city.

In fact, you don't even need to get off the bus. The sandwiches have been pre-ordered and are delivered to the bus. It's extremely nice, especially when it's raining, extremely cold, or hot and humid. You always have the option of getting off and stretching your legs, catching a glimpse of the restaurant, etc. The tour has 5 stops and you are asked to rate different components (meat, cheese, bread) at each stop. The tour guide listens to the feedback and alters stops on the tour periodically based upon the feedback. Stops on this tour included Sonny's, Campo's, Jim's, Pat's, and Geno's. We also stopped at the Philadelphia Museum of Art and got to climb up the Rocky steps. Our tour guide, Nina (also the owner of the company), passed along all sorts of her knowledge about the city as we drove past various monuments and buildings. I highly recommend this tour when visiting Philadelphia. You'll walk away stuffed; not only did we receive the 5 samples, Nina also had a local goodie bag for us (Herr's potato chips, Tastykake).

We would not have had such an enjoyable and educational time walking around this part of this City without him leading the way. He shared with us that he is a retired University professor and Philadelphia native. He loves this city and it showed! We learned about the history of one of the oldest markets in the US (over 100 years old) and sampled some items along the way. We also saw street art and learned more about the history of the City, William Penn's plan for a "utopian" type society and the legendary "curse of William Penn." The Penn statue on top of City Hall used to be the highest point in Philadelphia until the 1980's when the mayor alllowed skyscrapers in. The legend goes that after that, all the Philly sports teams had a losing streak until a worker on one of the new tallest buildings added a mini statue of Penn to the top, then the teams started to win again. On our tour, we sampled... Sesame seed sprinkled fresh bread (with no preservatives) Italian cookie drizzled with chocolate. Aged Balsamic Vinegar, Fig Vinegar and Coconut flavored White Balsalmic Vinegar Special cheese (can't remember the name) coupled with spiced cashews Fresh (made today) Tortilla chips and fresh tomato salsa from a shop where the owners are from Central Mexico Mandarin orange from the produce stand Plus we got 10% off when we purchased additional items at the vendors we passed for being on the tour.

What I felt stood out and made Sam's tour above all of the other various brewery tours that I've been on, is his complete understanding of the chemistry aspect of the brewing process. It's one thing to be able to understand and recite the step by step process of brewing and some of the biological and chemical reactions, but Sam said he went to school in those fields so his knowledge of this fields of study was truly outstanding (and he also had some great stories about beer as well). We visited Flying Fish (the largest and oldest brewery in New Jersey), Lunacy (a cult favorite brewery that I've actually never heard of that only brews at night given the lunar root of their name) and then Roy-Pitz (their main brewing location in not in Philadelphia, but their sours were brewed on site, which if you know anything about beer, sours and all other types of beer need to be kept separated) and Love City Brew Co (this was the last stop on our tour and was PACKED) in the Spring Garden Arts section of Philadelphia. All of the breweries we visited we got a sort of "backstage" look at their specific brewing process as well as tasted four of their beers. On the third stop we had a late lunch/early dinner of sandwiches or burgers (which I didn't even finish because I was so full). Overall based on things learned, new breweries visited, food portion size, and overall tour guiding, I'd give City Brew Tours a 10/10 if it were possible on Yelp. By the end I couldn't even drink anymore beer (I'm tiny, sue me) and left with some new appreciation of some pretty cool breweries that I had never been too. I understand that not every tour goes to the same brewery, seeing as not all will have the same availability week to week, so I'd defs be interested to do another Brew Tour and get to explore some other breweries as well. City Brew Tours was a full day of fun, facts and brews, would highly recommend!

Tiny Table Tours is a tour company for food-focused small group walking tours in Philly. It offers…read moreits signature tour - Beyond the Italian Market - every weekend, and it offers other tours on occasion. We took the Beyond the Italian Market tour this past Saturday and loved it. Over the course of 2-3 hours, we walked around South Philly with our very informative and friendly guide. We tasted bites at several different businesses in the neighborhood: donuts, bánh mì, tacos, horchata, whitefish salad, pastrami smoked salmon, mini ricotta cannoli, and a little wine! Along the way, we learned about each business and their histories. One of the businesses we visited has been open for well over 100 years, others opened in the last few years. All of them have great stories - about why the owners make the food they make, why they opened their restaurants - amazing success stories. Over the course of the tour, we also learned so much about South Philly - the history of immigration to the neighborhood, the story of businesses that helped newly arrived immigrants feel at home, acclimate, find work, or have a taste of home, information about how the neighborhood has changed over time. I learned a ton. Ate a ton (all delicious). I love food, but food often tastes even better when told with a story. And that's what Tiny Table is all about - food and its context and history. If you love food and/or history, I highly recommend taking the Beyond the Italian Market tour. I hope to go on another tour sometime soon!

Our instructor/guide D was very patient and insightful guide as he explained the history of the Mural Arts program in Philadelphia! Our tour started from Columbus Blvd and went through Northern Liberties and Chinatown! I was nervous to go in the streets in the beginning, but once I got my confidence I was enjoying the tour as well as the ease the we went through the neighborhoods! The tour was great and I am now hooked on Segways..I will be exploring Segway Tours when I travel in other cities or countries! Great job Philly Tour Hub!

We were able to stop along the way for coffee and at several sites for a closer look. Adam has vast knowledge of the area and historical sites and was an excellent story teller. I would highly recommend paying a extra for the private tour.
