Seed is a welcoming little shop on the Parade that specialises in baby stuff. Cue squees.
It's immaculately decked out both in terms of product and shop fittings....but surprisingly that's what appeals to me the least. It's too polished: I prefer a little bit of mismatched homespun charm when it comes to kids stuff (and life for that matter). What can I say, I'm a Frankie girl through and through.
Prices aren't cheap either: you're looking at $30 - $40 on average for tee or romper. That said, you can find some adorable stuff for the cutie patooties in your life, especially around sale time when they have up to 50% off. I nabbed some lovely chunky knits and adorable all-in-ones for my niece at good prices. They also stock women's clothes from what I can tell but it's really not my personal flavour.
As well as all the usual tiny clothes, Seed have a good range of toys and accessories - I especially like the wooden toys and woodland critters. They also had a fox mask om sale the last time I dropped by: does it get any cuter? read more
