They buy their clothing directly from people who bring in their "too good to throw away" pieces or vintage treasures, then mark it up to make a profit. As such, it's basically an expensive op-shop, though with way better quality clothing, and a range of very quirky styles. It's much bigger inside than you'd first expect, as it goes back into another space, so there's a huge range of clothing in here. It also doesn't appear to be arranged in any kind of order, so you really have to hunt through everything. It's quite a bit of fun! And you could find absolutely anything hiding in the depths.

Cotton On Kids offer a wide selection of different clothing for young kids. They even have baby clothes! The baby clothes are adorable, mini leggings and bibs and so much more. It's so much fun to go looking in store and pretend that you have a baby or young kid to buy for. Or am I the only one who does that? Well this is awkward.. If you have young kids you should shop at Cotton On Kids. The store is small but still big enough, well stocked, cheap prices and great staff.

I really love the new name and branding, it is super cute and matches the whole Japanese theme of the store. Well, not all of the stock is Japanese, but they also stock lots of cool art, jewellery, home décor and toys. This is one of my fav places to shop for gifts for my friends and family. You will find lots of quirky unique things in this store, like fake deer heads, cool mugs, quirky books and gift cards. I actually found some super cool Star Wars plates with Darth Vader with a top hat. That was a immediate purchase. You know those moments when you are shopping and you say "omg I must have!" Check out the jewellery in this store, you will find some really lovely modern styled elegant pieces. I found it very hard to choose from so many cute options. Some pieces full silver, others have beads and acrylic shapes. The staff in this store are super friendly and so happy to help you out if you are looking for something in particular. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they have a loyalty program which gives you discounts and invites to a special VIP party a couple of times a year. How cool is that, especially for such a little store!

The store is quite small, and the service is pretty standard. The West Lakes store used to have a lot more stock, but now, not so much. There's still a decent variety to choose from though, lots of formal dresses, suit jackets and long skirts. Perfect for the ladies who like to dress up.

I love going for runs, doing yoga and kickboxing. If you don't have the right outfit then it's just not as fun to workout. We need motivation! Lorna Jane gives you motivation. The West Lakes store is stocked with sports bras, leggings, singles, bathers and pretty much everything else you can think of that you need when working out. Everything but the shoes. You can buy socks though! The staff are also very helpful, friendly and look the part of a fitness woman. If you want a wide variety of good workout clothes then head down to Lorna Jane.

I'd rather pay a lower price for a bag that looks similar to a brand named one instead of paying hundreds of dollars. Are you crazy? The West Lakes store is small but not too small. There's plenty of room for you to browse around and a decent variety to choose from. Considering the low prices, you'd think they wouldn't be good quality, but I've found that they've always lasted a long time. If you're looking for something cheap that will do the trick, then it's the place for you.

They're nicely spaced out as well, rather than being all on top of each other. A lot of shoe stores are small with shoes piled on top of each other. If you find something you like and then decide to go back to it later you might forget where it is. Well, it happens to me anyway... I admit I can be scatterbrained. Anyway, that's never been an issue for me here. The prices aren't too bad either. I've seen cheaper shoes don't get me wrong, but I've seen a lot more expensive too. Footwear Warehouse offer decent prices, and you can't go too far wrong if you pay them a visit. Shoes are a necessity after all...

I don't know how this store does it but they have seriously got the merchandising right, I daresay that not many Adelaidians are rocking this classy, aftershave, crisp but relaxed man look because I would have noticed. Yd has such a classy set up and everything feels quite fancy. They stock a wide range of dress shirts, casual shirts, jeans, suits and shoes. This particular store has a lovely selection of staff members who are more helpful then you'd think. I've gone to yd to buy clothes for guys and the staff know exactly how to figure out their size and what would suit them best and they've never steered me wrong yet. If you're a guy I'd check it out. If you're a girl buying for a guy then I'd check it out.

There is a very conservative few racks in the middle of the shop, covered in jeans and plain t-shirts. I think this is the staple product of the store, then the owner just has fun with the rest of it. It's a great store to look through, as it's filled with a whole range of contrasting stuff. And it's on the way to the ice cream shop next door.

Katies is very affordable, and perfect for older women. I'm not saying that younger women can't shop there, but it generally targets the older demographic (okay not 'old' I'm just talking anywhere from your thirties and up). The staff are friendly, the store is fully stocked and you always get a nice cool breeze when you walk in. I know that's a weird thing to comment on, but I don't like walking into a hot stuffy store. You might like it, but it's not for me. Especially if you have to try on clothes!
