Ok, I'm feeling a bit spoiled after a great day. Visited the Schwerin schloss, wonderful, and just finished one of the best lunches of my life. Tomato soup, filet and a blueberry ice cream dessert that can't be described, see picture. Nice place to sit outside with a view of the lake. Worth the drive!! read more

I tried the "Windbeutelkuchen", a profiterole cake, and a hot chocolate with espresso - the cafe speciality. The cake was very creamy and sweet, the hot chocolate was dark and bitter. Both fine alone but I wouldn't take that combination again. Overall the cafe was well worth a visit.
