I was pleasantly surprised to find an Asian restaurant in Germany. It's a short walk from the port…read morewhere we disembarked from the cruise ship. We were actually in the area to see the Warnemunde church, and a sign for the restaurant at the street corner intrigued us. It was practically right next to the church, so we checked it out. Upon entering the restaurant, you are welcomed with beautiful Asian decor. There is an upstairs and a downstairs to the restaurant. I guess they open both if they are busy, but when we were there, only the downstairs was open. Lucky us! They have this cute little pond downstairs with a ton of koi fish! There are tables right next to the pond, so you can actually enjoy watching the fish while you eat. The waiters are very friendly, and one of them speaks perfect English! They also have an English menu, which was helpful, since the extent of my German is "gesundheit". I must say, all the food was delicious. The spring rolls were my favorite, and they serve it with some of the best sweet and sour sauce I've ever had. They also have beer (of course, you're in Germany), and cocktails, but I didn't order any. It's nice to have that option though. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area!
