This is my third visit. The last two were great, but this visit was the worst service I have had in a long time. My husband and I had a young waitress. She had light brown curly hair. She needs more training in my opinion. I understand she had other tables to serve, but we were not rude to her, or demanding at all. She failed to get us what we asked her for, had to ask someone else to help us. We were not told that my raw sushi was gonna be served on the same plate as my husband's cooked sushi. My husband is very funny about that, as I know other people are. He felt very uncomfortable with it. Then our waitress tossed our bill at us while looking the other way. It came off very rude. We felt very unappreciated, and this visit made us feel extremely dissatisfied. I don't plan on being back here for a while. While the food tastes good, the service here sucks balls. They do not care how they make people feel. Not very welcoming. Whoever reads this review, be careful coming here. Especially if you are funny about raw fish. They will not ask if you are ok with raw fished served alongside your cooked fish/roll. I was excited about this restaurant taking over the old Bonefish location and although I wanted to avoid opening weekend and give them time to work out the kinks I was itching to give them a try. Half full restaurant on a Sunday evening I was promptly greeted and seated. My waiter came and informed me how things worked but I did my research so I had a general idea. However I was concerned about the order in which everything came and if I should order everything at once or piecemeal, following my waiters advice I ordered my appetizer and rolls at once. Since this was opening weekend I fully expected some glitches and I was not disappointed. First off I was never offered or brought water and second their was no utensils or napkins or chopsticks until I mentioned it after the Hibachi came. Now for the kicker, apparently it was a busy Sunday and they were out of some items, fully understandable however I was never informed of that when I ordered my rolls. As a result it took no less than 40 min for my rolls to come. People who came in 20 min after I ordered got theirs before me. Had I been informed when ordering I gladly would have ordered something else but like I said I completely understood this was opening weekend and expected some glitches but not serving 101 mistakes. At no point did the manager stop by or even acknowledge me. All that being said I was happy with my food, everything was fresh and on point but Service needs polishing. As others have said this is not a normal all you can eat sushi. You order full rolls so you need to know which rolls you like or be brave and potentially be stuck with a roll you don't like. Many of the rolls are covered in an orange sauce. Sauce covered sushi is not my favorite so I made sure to avoid anything that included sauce in the description. The service was odd. When I asked what the specials were she told me I could go up front and look at the sign. Hmm okay. She finally brought me her phone that had a picture of the specials sign. She didn't read them off to me, she handed me her phone. Odd. So the staff does not know their own specials. I will be checking out other sushi places before I consider returning to See Wee Roll. read more

Horrible service. Went to lunch with my coworkers for the first time and it will def be our last. Waiter spilled our drinks everywhere and didn't say sorry. They messed up our order. We waited 30 mins for our food and our food was just sitting at the sushi bar. The waiter didn't even check on us. We had to ask another waiter for our food and by the time we got it it was cold. When we asked the waiter for condiments they never came back. It was the worst experience. Clearly the employees need training because they were unprofessional. Very sad that this place was a bust. We were seated and got drinks quickly, and after drinking half of my sweet tea, I had to excuse myself because I thought I was going to be sick. I love a super sweet tea, but the consistency was almost syrup. A food runner dropped off our apps, and they weren't correct. To be fair, it recently opened so that wasn't a bother. However, it became an issue when our waitress was very difficult to find. Our crab rangoons and gyoza were dripping in oil. They were so greasy we couldn't finish them. When we got our sushi, we couldn't eat it either. It seemed like instead of sushi rice, it was minute rice. It was squishy and tasted like glue. I thought maybe it was just mine, then everyone at my table couldn't finish theirs either. We decided to get ice cream since we hadn't eaten anything yet. My vanilla was fine, but the green tea was sour as if it had gone bad. To top it off, our waitress told us their card machine was down and we would need to go to an ATM in order to pay. I get that this happens, but it just added to the experience. They also don't put any prices on their menu. We thought lunch was $15, but apparently if you come on the weekend it's over twenty. I should've listened to my instincts and left after seeing the paper on the wall with the B rating from the health department. Raw fish is something that NEEDS to be prepared under sanitary conditions. I tried anyway. It was a 20 minute wait, which is not bad for a Saturday afternoon at a busy mall area. The waiter was nice. The sushi was decent (3.5 out of 5). I was planning to leave a 5 star review when I got home for the day. But as I'm browsing the mall afterwards, my stomach starts the infamous gurgle. You know what I mean....the one that says it's coming in 2 minutes max and you better get to a restroom ASAP. So I had an explosive diarrhea episode in the public restroom (like the one in that one scene in the White Castle movie). I proceeded to attempt to shop some more, but had to literally run to the restroom for a round 2 a mere 10 minutes later. Absolutely terrible. We arrived at 11:45 am, they opened at 11. My first clue that things might not be headed down the right path was a hostess that looked like she had just gotten out of bed. We were taken to our table and we sat, and we sat and we sat. More than ten minutes later, the waiter came to our table, told us our drink order was in (it was taken by the hostess) and took our order page for the all you can eat lunch. And then we waited some more. We finally got our iced tea and waited again. Then the one bowl of soup came out. Then we waited again. Then the single plate of hibachi veggies came out. And we waited again. Then the one sushi roll and two pieces of sushi came out. Then we waited again. And finally the two pieces of crab rangoon came out. The biggest problem was that the sushi roll was bad. The fried shrimp in it tasted like it was last night's leftovers and the crab salad in it was very fishy smelling. We did not finish it. Everything else was mediocre at best. We didn't bother ordering anything else. Never were we offered any ginger, wasabi or sauces. I had to ask for plates, which took a while. We were never offered a refill. The waiter was slow as he could be, which seemed to be pretty much the norm for all the servers. When we decided to give up, no waiter in sight, no check to be found. We ended up going up to the register to request a check and pay. So we ended up paying $40 for two iced teas, one bowl of soup, a small plate of hibachi veggies, one sushi roll, two pieces of sushi and two pieces of crab rangoon. I must say we had such high hopes for this new restaurant, but our experience was beyond disappointing. The server was prompt to take our order but once it was delivered our waitress was absent - it was extremely difficult to order a second drink, our order was jumbled and she was unable to tell us what was what. The sushi had way too much rice and were loosely rolled making the rolls difficult to eat and all you taste is the rice - this is likely an effort to fill you up since it was all you can eat. BEWARE there is a "waste fee" of $8 - if you leave anything on your plate.... so if you don't like a roll, your waitress cannot be found to send it back to the kitchen, additionally if you remove some of the rice - you are hit with that charge so you are not only paying for the all you can eat but you are paying for the roll you don't like and a pretty hefty price for the extra rice. I believe if they reduced the amount of rice used and rolled the sushi tighter they might have a chance additionally they either need to train the waitstaff to be more attentive or more likely need to hire more servers. The customer service was exceptionally BAD, we tried to provide some feedback on our experience and were met with combative management. Was excited to try but was extremely disappointed. Probably the worst sushi on the coast. It has zero flavor and rice didn't seem to seasoned at all. Good rice is a crucial first step to sushi. Spicy tuna was like eating bland mush. Everything tasted exactly the same. It was just weird. The apps, while a bit greasy, were edible but not great. The sushi was just terrible. It was so bad that neither one of us finished half of the two rolls we ordered and were happy to pay the extra charge just to not have to finish them. Thankfully they didn't charge us which is why I gave it two stars. If you don't know good sushi, this is might be a place for you. We will not be back. After roughly over an hour wait, I went up to the host and saw the wait list, I was skipped over by 5 names.
