Clarification - statements of fact: Mike McAllister (while at Rufe Snow location) completely…read moremisrepresented the policy he sold me at my cost of over $50,000 out of pocket because of being evidently vastly underinsured, and the new agent, Marcus Smith (now located in Arlington), did nothing to correct my known problem of being underinsured, and still will not discuss selling me a policy that covers my new house. High deductible, capped limits at a low value, roof can only be repaired/replaced if there is a leak causing drywall damage, plumbing itself is not covered except for split pipes due to freezing, ... and others. I thought I was properly covered until I made this last claim of weather damages -- The new agent, Marcus Smith (& now located in Arlington), never reviewed the policy with me as I requested each year over the telephone but renewed the policy knowing I was extremely underinsured. I ended up vastly underinsured by Marcus Smith essentially continuing a policy for my old small city house, refusing to discuss a better policy for my larger ranch/farm house that AllState was advised I had purchased. The adjuster on that weather claim said that she was aghast that my policy didn't cover much of anything and that I had such a high deductible and low cap limits and no farm/ranch items, that an experienced agent would realize there is a legal breach of common ordinary Duty of Care to not inform me that the policy sold to me is extremely inadequate knowing/given the exact details to my new house -- thus knowing I am underinsured and not telling me in a review during 4 years of renewals has an appearance of being deliberate. Marcus Smith did reopen a weather claim after he called me -- telling him there was very little the adjuster could do because the storm damages were expressly excluded or simply not covered. I have not heard any ruling from the AllState advocates or claims, with Marcus Smith professing total innocence and no responsibility/duty to me as his client/customer. I have been unable to call the local office - always goes to a robotic answering machine that after 20 questions, hanging up on me after stating that I'm being transferred to agent Marcus Smith. This is one reason I chose this form of media -- Marcus Smith is impossible to reach and the only times I've talked to him is when he called me!! It took this review to get agent Marcus Smith's attention, and instead of working with me to select a proper policy as he has avoided every renewal, I was instead threatened with a deformation lawsuit over my consumer reports. (BTW, everything I stated is factual -- truth is always an absolute defense to a defamation lawsuit even if there were proven financial damages).

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! If you have any additional evidence to provide in the future such as police reports or surveillance footage we are happy to review the liability decision. So you are my parents, who are in their 80's insurance agent. Their car was sitting in the driveway…read morein June of 2014 when lightning struck within a matter of feet of the car. It caused some electrical issues so they took it to the dealership to be fixed. As I am writing this, it is AUGUST 6, 2014 and they still do not have their car! The dealership says that they have fixed only what they were authorized to have fixed and when it doesn't work, they have to submit another work order and another and another and wait on you and your company to authorize each individual "fix". They could have rebuilt an entire car over the last 8 weeks. My parents did not have rental on their policy but I can bet that if they had, they would've had the car fixed in a timely manner as to not have to pay for 8 weeks of car rental. So over the last 2 months, people have had to shuttle them around. Let me ask you a question, how would you feel if your parents were stuck for two months without a car because some knucklehead dragged his feet? That is where I am at being a son who lives 10 hours away! You have taken advantage of the elderly and really don't care! Shame on you for treating your customers like this. They needed you during a time of need and YOU have dropped the ball! YOU did not hold up your end of the deal when they paid you to be their agent...shame shame shame!
