They helped us with an aged security system so we have a more secure primary entrance while also adding motion and door sensors throughout our facility. One specific solution they provided was with the keypad lock for our front door. No longer are we dependent on the locksmith for an annual re-key; nor do we need to distribute multiple keys to staff/volunteers. Hands down, the worst company I have ever dealt with. You want examples? Fine. The installer,…read more Moose (yes that's his name), tried to install a dimmer switch on florescent lights. His excuse? 'I wasn't told you had florescent lights.' It gets better. You need to file a permit with the local police department. You need to put the correct address on the permit so if your alarm goes off, the police know where to go. Western States Security put the wrong address on the permit. They incorrectly installed a water sensor, so we kept getting flood alarms. They hooked the system up to an electrical outlet behind large boxes, so when the boxes were moved, the alarm would shut off. Brice, the absentee owner refused to call me back. I finally had my attorney write them a letter cancelling the contract. Seriously, avoid at all costs. Thanks for wasting my time, Western States Security.

I suggest you go read reviews for Brinks Home Security, it's terrible. Reliable signed a contract with me and violated that contract through a rate hike, I called and they can't do anything about it and so you have to go through Brinks which is horrendous. Beware of what you're signing up for. It's 2018, do yourself a favor, use NEST aware or one of the smart home devices company. These legacy companies should seize to exist.
