Not all rooms are equal, and some are definitely better suited for first-timers. Unfortunately, we were just placed in a room without much context. You're pretty much left to wander and guess until the game master chimes in over the speaker. It would really help if there was something to kick off the experience--a clue, a short intro, anything to give some direction. Otherwise, you're just touching things at random and hoping it all starts to make sense.

They offer two different playing moods. Since race weekend plus Sarah like news do competitive mood. The harder of two mood options. So we only started with one clue. I never realize amount of stress these things can be. More so when squeezing time till last second. The fact doing it as team just the five of us makes it lot of fun. We got down last lock but ran out of time. I can remember the name of the room. We had two options to choose from. I remember correctly the one pick harder of the two. I based on 10point scale. The room we did was 8. It cool they have chalkboard out front fastest times of the day or might go by all time. It tricky spot find but worth it. It on second floor, not much signs, and if anything look for flight stairs take up to the entrance. The employees are awesome. No doubt five stars. She was hilarious welcome us, going over the rules, way injected humor in conversation, and positive vibes. If looking for group activity visiting Chattanooga. Time to Escape. Winnah!!!

Long story short, buying 2 of his book counted as passes for a room.... and ended up saving us about $20. The actual game we paid was a blast. As a pair we were about to escape with a few minutes to spare. If I'm in the area, I will definitely retire. The books seem to be pretty good as well.

At a timed 1-hour, this is a quick and unique activity that gets you actually interacting instead of looking at your phone or another screen. It was a good choice on a date night when we were short on time. We reserved and filled out the waiver online, so the awesome Alicia had us in our Runaway Train room within 5 minutes of arrival. FYI, they legally cannot lock you into a room, so if that was a deterrent from trying an escape room, fret no more! The hour starts by watching an intro video of the chosen game. You walk around and examine everything available to you in the room and clues arise that you then use to lead you to the next clue. If you get stuck, you are able to ask for help up to 3 times from the room moderator over the speaker. We definitely needed the help, as there were a few things we never would have noticed/guessed. We were on the very last step of the game when time ran out. Wah waaaaaaah. Close enough to winning and such a good time that we are inspired to come back soon and try another game.
