Each time I've visited I've been the only person there and they've been super helpful in choosing a frame that works with my budget and color scheme. It takes about 2 weeks for them to frame something so I was a little worried when I didn't hear from them for a month after dropping off the first painting. I called and they mentioned they had a typo in my phone # and had trying to be in touch. The framing is beautiful and I think fairly priced. Between their helpfulness and the convenience of being a few minute drive from my house I can't imagine going elsewhere for my framing needs.

This project included painting some slatted sliding doors, which house our furnace and hot water heater. We also wanted to get 4-inch plantation shutters installed on all of our downstairs windows and in our master bedroom. We also had a few miscellaneous things that the owner said they could help with, including fixing some molding that our previous floor/door installers had left off/too short. The work was scheduled quickly. The painters were so friendly and nice. My elderly dog got sick and they called me at work and let him outside to go potty. The were pretty good with what they painted, but I soon noticed after they left that there was paint splattered on random things--fine sprays of paint on the side of a cabinet, drips on my winter coat hanging in the laundry room, the floors, hardware of the slatted doors, drips between the slats, etc. The molding they had made to fix a previous contractor's boo-boo not only looked awkward, it also wasn't painted. I wish I had said it looked bad at the time he'd shown me before install, but I wasn't really sure how it was going to look after he'd put it in. I'm fairly sure the owner said they'd fix the other door with the same molding issue, but because it wasn't specified on their invoice, I didn't bother to say anything because after all, I wasn't happy with the other one. The shutter installer came a few weeks after the painters once the product arrived. He told me he realized only had received product for one window and the other product needed to be tracked down. Within a few days, it was found and we scheduled another installation date. He came and installed the rest. My husband was home and working and didn't realize that the dining room was missing the split at the 42" mark so we let in light without losing privacy. They came back out again to quickly adjust the shutters. Ewald Interiors came recommended on Facebook to us. Pricing was reasonable based on other quotes we'd received. The house looks better. I love my shutters. I've cleaned up the paint I can. I continue to hate the molding. Would anyone else really notice? Probably not. Would I use Ewald Interiors again? Also, probably not.

They were exactly what I needed. Spoke with the office manager who was able to set up an appointment in a short time. Tom Ewald came to the house, and discussed what I had in mind. He made suggestions based on my style of decorating and the age of my home. The selection of samples was wonderful and I found one I liked. He also suggested a shutter for one window to provide more privacy, and measured everything precisely suggesting the hardware that would blend nicely with the metal already in use. The order arrived in a timely manner and everything was installed before Christmas. The quality is excellent, the installer was a perfectionist and did not leave one spec of dust, and I am so happy with my purchase. I splurged a little, but they had selections for many price ranges. 2024 kicked off with a basement floor..never fun! We ripped out our carpet, among other things…read morefrom the damage, and decided to do vinyl floors. A friend who just redid her basement bought her vinyl floors from Carpet Central & Hardwood Flooring so I went there to check out all the options. I brought home a bunch of samples that looked good and facetimed with my decorator (who recently moved to Dallas) to find the best one. They all appeared a bit grey so I returned and brought home so more samples. This time I got it right and had Mike price it out for me. My contractor thought the price was very fair so we decided to move forward. When I checked out the samples I thought in stock meant in Illinois, but it was in the warehouse in Georgia. It took about a week to get to us, which was pretty fast, but I was hoping to start a week earlier. My kids are going a little stir crazy without a basement in the winter! As Mike promised it came in exactly a week after ordering and he worked with my contractor to pick it all up the next day. I did get an invoice that day even though I had paid for the floors a week earlier, but Mike apologized for the mix up. The floors are currently being installed and I look forward to seeing the finished product!

He was recommended by our contractor. He came to our house and took measurements and gave us some initial ideas. As we progressed, he came with samples of drapes, blinds, valance fabrics, shades. The quality of the materials is impressive. We decided to do automated treatments in a couple rooms and did some variations on other windows. Bennett attended our installation and walked us through the different mechanisms (manual, draw, automated). The cost was very reasonable for the amount of work and windows we covered.
