From the moment we arrived, we sat ourselves at the bar and were warmly welcomed by Cody, who took the time to thoughtfully explain not only the menu but everything the brewery had to offer. You could tell right away that they genuinely care about the experience here. The atmosphere was fun and inviting with free cornhole, free darts, and even dollar pool tables--such a great touch. Bridget jumped in behind the bar as well and was full of personality, great conversation, and positive energy that made the night even better. When the shift changed, we were taken care of seamlessly by another incredible crew: Rebecca, Kirsten, and Kira. Every single person was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. We're visiting from out of town from Los Angeles and had no idea where to go, but we're so glad we chose this place. Even the regular patrons were welcoming and added to the overall great vibe. If we're ever back in town, this will absolutely be a must-visit again. Highly recommend!

To be honest, we were one of two parties in the bar, but we saw that as a good thing. Service was, as you can imagine, immediate, and the atmosphere was great for hanging out and having conversation. The bartender (I unfortunately didn't get his name) was a fantastic conversationalist. They were playing Aliens on one of the TVs, and we spent a good chunk of time just talking about the film and other random topics. For this trip to Craft, I wanted to try a beer I hadn't yet had, and the bartender named a few, including the one I ended up choosing, the Luna Negra, a Craft by Proper beer. I have had a lot of other beers from them which have been great, so I won't knock them too much for this one trip, but the beer was not good. It had nothing to do with the bartender or the bar itself, but the beer was unfortunately one of my least-favorite beers I've ever had. Guess that's what you get for asking for something "unique". Anyway, all that being said, Craft by Proper is still one of mg favorite local beer bars, and I'll be coming back sooner rather than later.

Drinks are cheap and so are their Hennessy shots at $7 each! Plenty of seating available, but everyone seems to congregate at the bar. I soon found that the bartender is such a hoot and so friendly! There's a couple of pool tables. The bathrooms are a little "shocking." I was looking for the women's restroom and when the lights automatically turned on, I saw lots of 70s models posing nude. So this is what regular bodies look like before the surgery era! The men's restroom was more classy with people smoking cigars.

The mango basil slushie was the best, especially in the heat. The ruby is the OG and tastes like a classic dry cider.
