I can't recommend 2nd Life enough! I called them because my dryer stopped heating and my washer was having drain issues. They were fast to respond and diagnosed the problems right away. Not only did they get everything working perfectly again, but they also took the time to clean all the dust and lint out of the machines. It's rare to find service this thorough. I really appreciate their hard work! read more

Love this place. They were the quickest to send someone out to look at my washer and when comparing quotes for labor and parts, they were also priced best. And they're great communicators as well. Their mechanics have been punctual and nice and seemed honest which is do rare these days. Recommended them to friends who also had good experiences. read more

Had a technician out the same day I submitted my request. He quickly diagnosed the issue, gave a clear price upfront, and had the stove fixed within the hour. Competent, communicative, and efficient. Could not ask for more. Highly recommend. read more

Andrei did a great job fixing my dryer. He was professional and efficient. Will be calling second life again!

Once upon a time, this Faerie Queen was having a day filled with first world problems. Food burned! Coffee machine gifted me with dark sludge! The last was the final straw... the filled dishwasher decided to quit loudly. I quickly went to Yelp Projects, and found them, Second Life. They came out the same day, were even early to the appointment time, and worked out the puzzle until it was ready to go again. Thank you so much. The end. read more

Amazing experience with second life. They are very accommodating to you and your needs and will definitely make your money's worth! I had asked them to check out my dryer because it has stopped spinning and they came and knew right away what to do! The next day they came with the new parts and fixed the problem! Mike came to fix my dryer, he was very efficient and kind and caring! He even cleaned my lint out and made my dryer a whole new dryer!! Reasonable price, will definitely be using Second Life's services again in the future! read more

Excellent service! Efficient tech came onsite. Was very knowledgeable. Definitely recommend. read more

Asher was great, prompt and efficient. Thoroughly cleaned our dryer vent and we're able to get back to our laundry. Thank you!

This company was the worst!! The person they sent to come to our home to check our stove never made it. He called, barely comprehensible, that he was still by the beach and will be at our home address hours later. I am extremely disappointed especially after reading so many good reviews when in fact, this company couldn't even do basic good business practices!! read more

Our dryer broke after being serviced by our regular home appliance service guy, which was very disappointing. So, I sent a request for quote through the Yelp projects and Second Life responded immediately. They were very transparent with the fees and a service rep was available same day. When the rep came, he checked out our dryer to let us know the motor is going bad and that it's not worth repairing. He showed us how to kick start the dryer by rotating the drum and recommended that we buy a new unit since it is over 15 years old and out of warranty. We weren't even charged a consulting fee. And since Second Life also does HVAC maintenance, we asked if he could take a look at our system and he was happy to do this extra service while he was here. Overall, service was friendly, price was reasonable and the office staff was timely and helpful. Definitely using Second Life again for future appliance needs. read more

Second life ultimately did not resolve my problem with my washer. But my 4 stars review is for the overall professional experience. Initially they said it was my control board so I paid for the part and labor. A day later i still had the same problem. Their initial diagnosis was incorrect. Ultimately I will have to go elsewhere to resolve my issue but Second chance refunded me a significant part of what I paid. From the beginning they were very responsive through messaging and their in person techs were professional and courteous and Stephanie responded quickly to my call. I really wished my problem was fixed but knowing I have funds returned, I can go seek help elsewhere without feeling more money drained out my pocket. Thank you for accommodating a customer when it's needed. read more

Nick was very professional and worked hard to maintain my washer and dryer. He fixed a problem with the vent and vacuumed under my refrigerator when replacing the water filte. I am very satisfied with the service. read more

We had a leak in the kitchen and also needed our 3-year old dryer cleaned. Second Life arrived the same day (within 2 hours of request). Anthony was able to fix the issue. I paid $200 total. He diagnosed and fixed the root cause of the leak in the kitchen, which was the water line. He also cleaned the lint from the dryer by disassembling the case and putting it back together. Overall good service. Professional and respectful. Perhaps I was hoping for a more reasonable fee of $150 in total because the work took less than an hour. But it's the weekend and I appreciate the prompt service. Thank you! read more

The customer service rep contacted me about my issue directly, and made sure to do a complete investigation with all of my concerns. She made sure to let me know that she would be following up- as well as went over every single detail as to why this happened. I was also refunded due to the entirety of the situation. I truly appreciate the customer service this company displayed with my issue as well as the understanding on my behalf. Much appreciated read more

Competent, skilled, and kind technicians. Fixed our dishwasher and washing machine which had some problems

Sunday July 21 2024. Our Samsung washer just could not finish the cycle and it shows Ur on the display. It has started doing that in the past couple months but it finally gave up. I got several quotes from Yelp and my husband thought this company seems need more reviews and we can try it out. On the same day, Paul came in and diagnosed the problem. Turned out it was the suspension belt that broke which is common for samsung washer. So they had to order the part and next following Sunday, Paul came back, install the part and tested the run, it went very well. We are happy with their service. It is a family business too based out of Reseda but they travel all over the place. read more

Victor was prompt and professional. Fixed our oven igniter very quickly ($300) . He provided quotes to fix a dishwasher leak ($240) and a mini fridge condenser replacement (not worth it). I'd recommend Victor. He was friendly, respectful and knowledgeable, and he got the job done. read more

Very quick and professional. We needed a washer repair after our washer started leaking and they we're available on the same day. Even when we missed their call, they were very professional to help us make sure our schedules worked. Upon arriving, Paul quickly got to work and had the cover off in five minutes. Overall he finished the job in under two hours. Very satisfied with the quick service and the good value. Thank you again. read more

Was given a quote by the dispatcher that was waaay off, I asked how much to fix the fridge compressor and he quoted $277 plus $185 in labor. This got me to go with this company. The actual technician came over, who was great, but had to charge $60 to diagnose what I already knew and told me it would cost $1200 to fix it. I paid the money and threw out the fridge. Don't trust the initial quotes given. The technician was very good though and I'd trust his actual work. Edit: the company called after this review and let me know they've spoken with the dispatcher who will not make this mistake again. Based on this and the professionalism of the technician I'd now recommend this company. read more

We had him come in and check out her washer dryer because our landlord said that it wasn't an electrical issue. Our landlord thought it was our brand new washer and dryer so we paid him to check out our washer dryer and have it tested and it tested perfectly. Anthony showed up so quickly to check out our washing machine emergency and advise us on good next steps. Even though he couldn't help because we need two people and an electrician to move/fix the washer, he was supportive and clear on next steps. He didn't even charge us for the consultation because he felt bad he couldn't be of more assistance! read more

I had a tech (Victor) come out to check my washer and I was told by Victor that it's going to cost money to replace some parts. I asked to get a quote. He came out on February 9th Sunday. Nice guy! But I kept asking the guy to send me the quote for the repair 3 times. He said he was going to contact the office but I never received anything. I paid 59 dollars which was the cost for the guy to come out to diagnose. If you cannot provide a written quote when a customer asked you several times, what kind of company are you? Great customer service starts with prompt communication which is a problem with most of these companies. Today is already April 3rd. read more

Paul provided excellent service. He gives off a nice guy vibe, and was knowledgeable about the issue. I had a very positive experience with Second Life. They responded quickly to my request for a diagnostic and quote when my Bosch dishwasher wasn't working properly and sent out a technician the next day. Paul, the technician, did a great job. He arrived on time and did a thorough job examining the dishwasher, taking it out and examining the issue in detail, something other repairmen didn't do when providing a quote. The price provided for the repair was reasonable, and it was an easy decision to go with Second Life. With the actual repair, I had the same technician, Paul, and he continued to provide excellent service. He was polite and professional, and completed the repair in a timely manner, and waited while a cycle was running to confirm the issue was resolved. Highly recommend Second Life. read more

I had an issue with my refrigerator. It just stopped working. The guy came out diagnosed. It came back to fix that issue and found that there was more to it. It was the control board. I'm thinking great. How much is that gonna cost me but the owner actually split the cost in half with me and paid for shipping and handling although I had to wait another week and a couple days. The technician came out today and replaced the board and the fan when he left, I noticed that my refrigerator was making a weird noise so he drove all the way back 45 minutes and fixed the issue. I really do appreciate his kindness and his worth ethic. He was polite and efficient. Highly recommended. read more

Start with be BE CAREFUL!!! This company doesn't have a clue of what they doing!!! I called Thursday because we had an issue with the smart washer machine, they sent someone out on Friday. A guy came around 12pm and after 3 hours said that pump is not working well and tried to sell repair for extremely high price, we had no choice needed the machine and approved price and paid 50%, he started to fix and ALL my house was water all around on floor after another 3 hours (6 hours total) he didn't fix the problem and started to look fostering. When i asked him if he knows what he was doing he said no and started ignoring me when asking questions. We asked to speak to a manager and he ignored us same as office when we called. After we asked 30 times a guy name Pual called and start to apologize and told us he will send 2 guys tomorrow, i was clear that we need professional guy to fix it and check the back (because Friday guy didn't even move machine), Saturday 2 guys came and same issue. They spent 2 hours doing same as day before, i told them to check the back and they gave me attitude. This company will send a salesman with 0 knowledge and waste your time. I explained them how to check error codes in smart machines. This company will do same as anybody else on youtube with no experience will do just charge you for that. Btw before they came we had 3 errors - now we have 5-6 they make it worse!!! read more
