this place is a grass roots transformer. if you want to give and receive this is the place. i am…read morea case manager who was referred one heart a couple months ago. since i try to go to the retail store on saturday opening at 8am or swing by on one of the four days they have a food pantry to pick up meat, fresh produce, and non-perishables for my clients who just move into a place or are presently unsheltered. this agency has also provided items for a newborn with a single mother, a veteran who was just housed after being homeless for 5 years and more at no cost to myself or the person in need. if you want your donated treasures to go to a place that can multiply. give to one heart for women and children on rio grande. god bless you stephanie you gotta meet ms kay she is the sweetest ;)

People without cars are often the ones who need the most help, yet we got the least. Watching that happen right in front of us was really upsetting. I truly hope they do better and treat everyone equally next time.

Their mission is "Feeding the hungry and caring for those in need by sharing life's necessities and a message of hope." Their goal is to provide food and services for anyone in need. This free service includes the homeless, low income households, unemployed people, drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers, people with disabilities, children's homes, senior organizations and more. They distribute over 200,000 pounds of food each month to fifty local nonprofit organizations that they partner with. The Southeastern Food Bank fed 137,005 families in 2019 and local volunteers gave 15,928 hours of their time. I was in the line over 2 hrs and that was ok that comes with going to the event, that's not what the review is about. Your words was insensitive, disrespectful, and ugly. There was a lady In the line around 30 people behind me and the way you Spoke to her so nasty your facial expressions was terrible it was disgraceful but she Handled you well. The lady could not hear what you really was saying but she heard enough to respond back and it shook you so you went to get your staff to stare her down and try to make her feel threatened She stood her ground. I'm sure it was beneath her so that's why she didn't give you the attitude you gave her. As a business owner of a non profits you get donations financially and you get goods from the state county government etc. That was inappropriate and very unfair for you to treat anyone that way.
