You could hear some older folks laughing and chatting which was relaxing to hear. Boyfriend got the burrito I got the bacon 2 eggs plate They did give the bf mashed potatoes and apologized and brought a huge plate of potato cubes to say sorry for the mix up. A huge portion as well. The burrito was more like a wrap but kinda pressed like a panini if that makes sense. The sausage was a bit greasy kinda like the little hot dog ones you get at breakfast. My eggs were huge and so no complaint there. Creton was good and bacon was crispy. I would go back

The husband and I visited Café Lazio for a late breakfast last weekend and immediately fell in love…read morewith the place. What a relief it is to finally have a great independent coffee shop/café so close to home. This delightful new addition to the South Shore opened about a year ago and has already become one of our favourites. Being a small family-run business, we were welcomed with so much warmth and hospitality that we did not want to leave. Inside it is warm and cozy with mismatched tables and chairs, coffee-shop blackboards and charming decor, great for getting some work done or catching up with family and friends. We ordered a chicken panini, mocha and cappuccino. The chicken panini was one of the best I have ever had - a generous size full of flavour and fresh ingredients, served alongside house potatoes - delicious! The owner himself prepares all the meals and from the big smile on his face, it is obvious to see he does so with so much love and passion. Being an Italian coffee shop, it is no doubt that the drinks were also spot-on - I just wish the cups were larger as for the price, they were a little on the small side. Seeing the rest of the menu and the talent of the owner & chef, we have already decided to return again for lunch/dinner. For fresh homemade food, lovely atmosphere and exceptional hospitality - Café Lazio is the place!

BEST pizza place in town!!!…read more I'm from Toronto and have family that live in the area, we always make sure we come here during each visit! It's always our last stop before our 5 hour drive home! You can bet that we all fall asleep right away from being so full! Quality of the food is always great! We order a few whole pizzas to share and of course a few orders of their Poutine! Pizza has fresh ingredients, lots of sauce, lots of sauce and cooked to perfection! Their fries are crispy and drowned in gravy and cheese!! Soooo good! I can understand and speak a little French (my sister and her family are fluent - she learned while living there) but not enough to carry a conversation. With that being said, employees try their best to speak English and we try our best to speak French! They're very welcoming and extremely friendly! We go often enough to be regular customers so overtime it almost feels like home!

Staff more preoccupied with their cell phones over the concern of the clientele. the decor was modern but the cleanliness of the restaurant left a lot to be desired. The sign said please wait to be seated but the hostess informed me to just pick a spot. After finding the cleanest spot available, I sat down in one of their wall bench seats. I do not advise doing this as the benches are too high or the tables are too low. I ordered the supreme with an orange juice instead of the coffee. The only saving grace for this restaurant is the food. The fruit was fresh everything was cooked to perfection. As I was almost finished my meal one of the kitchen staff began mopping the floors and the smell of bleach was so overwhelming i could not finish my meal. To sum up my experience the food was definitely 4 stars but the service and restaurant itself would rate maybe two stars.
