Chilli Hot Chocolate w/ Chocolate Chip Cookie

This is by far the chillest café in Pointe-Claire for coffee at 8 in the morning. Walking in feels like visiting family, and their goodies definitely expand that feeling; tasting like home and warming like that tea your grandma's really good at making. The art that broadens around the room (which is replaced every week or two) makes it feel like an art gallery, and I love going over to check it out every time I finish my chilli hot chocolate (which is figuratively to die for).

Great little coffee shop! Cozy with a good vibe! Great scone! I wish i could have tried them all. There are more bar seats then tables thought, so its more of a one ou two person coffee place if you stay there to enjoy your order!

Really cute cafe to grab a drink or pastry, then take a walk to the water to hangout! It was a bit busy, so the cafe was very crowded. Simple menu and simple pastries, and both were really good! Excellent coffee shop. They know how to make all of the nuanced variations on your basic espresso + milk beverages, and they make them well. I think it's a cozy, well-laid out place with space in the back to find a small table to enjoy what you get. The cookies are delicious. read more

A great boutique espresso bar for coffee aficionados! It's the right place to relax, be with your own thoughts, chat with a friend or do a little reading I ordered an oat milk cappuccino with a slice of chocolate chip banana bread, a perfect pairing. What a little treasure you are, Victor Rose!! It warms my heart to see a space like this near where I grew up and to feel how sometimes when things change it's because they are getting better! I had an oat milk latté here today and a vegan vanilla cake that was delicious. I enjoyed the family vibe, and got a ton of work done on their wifi today in the quiet back while the snow swirled down in mounting heaps outside. I loved that they have kids books and a couple nice pieces of pottery and reusable cups for sale. This will definitely be my new go to when we're in the West Island!! read more

This quaint, friendly cafe is the best cafe in my opinion in Pointe-Claire. It has ambient and very hipster vibes in the West Island. The staff is incredible kind and very warm. We stayed for an extremely long time chatting and the staff didn't mind. The people who go to this cafe are equally nice. During our time there, we talked to their social media director and she was absolutely lovely, even gave my artistic friend tips on networking. Also, the bathroom has free tampons! I was in utter shock when I saw that. It is so kind for a cafe to even think of providing that. I really enjoyed my experience and would recommend it to anyone in the area. read more

I worked and lived around Pointe Claire south for many years and always yearned for a really friendly local coffee shop. Finally there is one, but i no longer live in the area. I do, however, make a point of getting my coffee there if i am anywhere nearby. Great coffee, friendly atmosphere, and great treats! Also, a huge plus for me, they practice sustainability. Encourage people to bring there own cup and straws by surcharging the poor environmental practices of one use plastics and cups. Worth the detour read more

This place is douchey and pretentious. Bunch of weirdos coming in and out the door Don't offer Splenda (for my special diet) They don't offer lids for your coffee (so I cannot take in the car) The owners look like they haven't showered in 4 days. Please don't go there. read more

A dog-friendly cafe in a great location in Pointe-Claire village with delicious coffee and a relaxed but cute environment. Iced coffee and lattes are my fave and I know the offer milk substitutes like almond/soy milk as I have friends who request that. Apparently they have an outdoor spot in the back too! I like the big table in the back where everyone just chats or works, gives it a nice community feel. Also...their baked good are delish! read more

Was looking for a spot to do a bit of work while in Pointe-Claire and am so glad my supervisor recommended me this little gem! VR is everything I've wanted in a café ... cute decor, homey atmosphere, cheerful and friendly staff, great lighting and amazing coffee! Comprised mainly of bar seats ... the only downside is that it may be harder to find seats during busier periods if you're visiting with friends. read more

Terry knows all the clients by name and makes you feel very welcome. Perfect place if you are by yourself as you can meet new people quite easily. The coffee is delicious... And fair trade! Had to have seconds as soon as my flat white was finished. Worth the try but be aware: you might get the bug and want to return sooner than later! read more

So I'm a tourist. I came to Victor Rose on my second day, got a latte to go. Smooth latte. Today is my last day in Canada. I decided to come to victor rose to work for a bit before we head to the airport and to have an iced coffee. I'm sitting working on my presentation and an older lady (maybe the manager can or owner) ask me if I'm getting something...?! Because "they do have a time limit" and "it's fine now but sometimes they get busy" is what she said....!?!!! FIRST COFFEE SHOP EVER that I hear that. Not even the bigger chains say that. Plus the place is EMPTY! Wow...I am shocked. Plus it was empty at this time!!! I don't understand why she'd make those comments. It's not like there was a plethora of people waiting to come inside. Lady, I bought a latte the first time and left. Can I not prepare for my meeting and enjoy sitting here and when I'm ready to buy something I will?!!
