Very rude customer service, screaming at the customers. Being the first time there, I never am going back. Would give them a zero but this app requires to put a star they don't even deserve.

I love this spot!!! I have found something every time!! The prices are fair and the selection is ever changing. The staff are so sweet and helpful!!!! I love that the proceeds go towards the animal shelter! They have unique days they are open, so check before heading that way! Will definitely be shopping there often.

I was excited to go to my first uptown cheapskate. It was mid afternoon, the store had about a…read moretotal of four customers. When I walked in I wasn't greeted with a welcome or hello. There were plenty of employees behind the counter. I walked around and noticed the purses, which were very cute. Then I walked to the pant section and then the dresses section. I finally chose a dress and a pair of pants to try on. One on asked if I needed help or if I needed a dressing room. Which was very disappointing. I finally asked an employee for a dressing room. They fit but not to my liking so I looked awhile longer but didn't buy anything. I was expecting a thanks for come or come again since there was at least four people behind the counter. I'll try coming back again maybe next time the employees will be more help or cheerful.

First of all, check in at the counter and fill out some general info. They then will go through and process your clothing, and give you a quote of what they will take. Time takes about 30-60 minutes. You can peruse the store or come back later, they'll text ya when they're done. You'll receive cash or an in store credit which is approx 20% more. I've taken the cash, they don't offer a lot, but it's better than nothing! Friendly service and clean store.

Listen people are donating their stuff to you if you're losing a couple dollars and donated stuff like come on how how much can that really be damaging you and have somebody near the Tryon section if it's really that much of an issue, but your clothes half of them don't have tags. I don't know what size I'm trying on and I'm not buying clothes that I can't try on when I asked the manager about it and asked him if I could return clothes if they didn't fit if I can't try them on because a couple of the items that I wanted to buy for an event like a costume party I was not gonna be buying if I couldn't try on and they were like jumpers and things I could not try on over my clothes. He told me just to try on over my clothes and that I could not return them if they didn't fit he also mentioned well I mean it's the same for the furniture and the shoes no, sir it's not the same. I don't need to try on furniture and also I can slip my feet into shoes. I will not be returning to Salvation Army army. I'm very upset by this. I guess Goodwill will be getting my business and I can't imagine that this is good for their business.
