I went to get a sim card for a replacement IPhone 12 that I got back after a new battery…read moreinstallation went wrong at Best Buy. I had to turn in the old phone to Apple, which is common. I lost my sim card so I went to my phone carrier TMobile and they put one in the new phone. I asked for instructions on getting it ready to go, but could start it when I got home. Instead, he told me it would be easier to load from my husbands phone and said he NEEDED HIS APPLE ID. It didn't make sense but I trusted him. He started my new phone up so it could be usable. However, I couldn't figure out how to restore the backup. I went back to the store and He said he assumed I had my old phone, even though I told him it was my husbands. Why did he ask for my HUSBAND's ID? makes NO HONEST SENSE. This made it impossible to retrieve my data So in trying to find a way to get my data back, I called my sister. Within 20 minutes, she told me to reset to factory settings. The backups that 'disappeared' as we were trying to get it fixed at the store, came back. Instead of treating me like I was lying about having backups, they should have found a solution since THEY CAUSED THE PROBLEM in the first place. I was furious at their lack of taking responsibility, lack of knowledge on how to get backups back after the gentlemen's ASSUMPTION put ME in a position of trying to fix their mess. They are incompetent and instead of fixing my problem, selling me an apple watch seemed to be what he was focused on. Did I get upset? Yes, I did, you caused the problem and acted like this was my fault. It was YOUR incompetence and he should have honored MY REQUEST to find out how to do the download without another phone in the first place. What a failure in customer service. What a failure of competence. What a failure in understanding your employees aren't as smart as they think there are.

This store is an absolute nightmare. I came in with a replacement already authorized by T-Mobile…read morecorporate, but the staff here made it impossible. The woman who "helped" me was rude, unprofessional, and honestly made me feel like she was trying to withhold or even steal my phone. I ended up leaving and going through corporate directly because they were completely useless. The staff is sexist, untrained, and untrustworthy. There are no bathrooms, no accessibility for disabled customers, and zero customer service skills anywhere in sight. While I was waiting, I overheard another customer complaining that someone here had taken pictures of his credit card information. Whether or not that's true, it tells you everything about how shady this place feels. This location is nothing but scams and incompetence. Save yourself the frustration and go to a different T-Mobile store -- or better yet, deal with corporate directly. This place should not even be open.

I have been a t-mobile customer for decades. I have had the same plan since 2017. my plan included…read moreup to 3 lines of service, I just recently added the third line. since adding the line they have told me that my plan did include the line but then they billed me for the additional line. Now they claim I have to pay $145 for three lines instead of the $90 on my original contract. I asked to speak with a manager in order to resolve the issue. it's been almost three weeks and o have not had a return call. My next bill is coming up to be paid so I had to remove auto pay so they won't take money from me then issue me a credit. I would look at other services before using T-mobile, they don't do what they promise.
