Then they started giving me so much grief because I asked them to put the 7.5 gallon tanks in my car when they fill them. At first it was tense but okay. Then they started arguing with me saying they didn't have to help me. I explained to them I have a handicap placard since my twenties due to a life long muscle issue. I told them I was in my seventies though look younger. So I showed them my drivers license. The older of the two younger owners sons or nephews was very kind at first and he said they'd help me. But since then there have been 4 times when they said they didn't have to help me. The most recent event was such a bad experience. The younger of the two young men at first flat refused to help me. I explained (again for the fourth time) my situation. And the younger one said to me. We won't help you again. Don't come back for propane unless you have someone to help you. It sounds silly but I was shaking because it felt like a slap in the face. I'm single, a retired social worker with a serious disability and in my seventies and live in a travel trailer where I have to haul propane sometimes twice a week when it's cold. I have granddaughters who are 9 and 18 and the18 year old isn't strong enough to help me. My daughter lives a distance and works out of town so she can't help me either. It was quite disappointing and disheartening. So I went down the road to Bridgeway Gas. They were so kind and said we got you. And are happy to help you. They are wonderful and kind people. It's such a relief to know u don't have to beg or fight for them to help me.

None of the pumps have pump locks on them, so you have to stand there and hold the pump the whole time while pumping gas..on top of that, the pumps are the slowest ones I've ever experienced, they pump about 1 gallon in about a minute (a very slow pump). Lastly, every time I actually wait about 10 minutes to pump my gas, it always comes up about 10 cents short. I dont know if they are trying to scam people or if the pumps are just the worst of all time. After pumping, I then have to go into the store and get my 10 cents back. The girl at night doesn't even speak a word of English. The prices are now the highest in sebastopol. You have to pay more with a credit card compared to cash. And everything inside the store itself is 2x the prices of things else where. Never going here again.

Rotten Robbie is located throughout the Bay Area and in addition to selling gas and typical food mart stuff, they also carry kerosene and for larger rig stops, the Pacific Pride card stations (if you are a farmer, you definitely have one of these, my father did). I slipped in for my cherry Icee and then purchased two Fiji bottles of water in addition to a Snicker's bar for "W"s snack later during fishing. I also purchased a small tube of lotion since I wanted to pick up some color on my legs. Easy location, right at the bisection of 116 heading towards Guerneville and Mirabelle Street.
