I was very reluctant to put my items in a NON Climate controlled unit for such a long period of time but the owners suggested some very helpful ideas that has kept our belongings safe. First they told me to put plastic on the floor to create a moisture barrier. -Hmmm Concrete has moisture so if you ever stored boxes in your basement you would know what he is talking about. Second, never move items in that are damp or wet so don't move in when it is raining or snowing. Third if you plan on staying a long time through Winter & Summer, buy a bucket of Damp Rid which absorbs any moisture in the unit. All this information was explained to us by the owners so we still have valuable peaces that are not damaged at all. I needed some storage on the fly. This place was near where I was moving and had availability in…read moreon of their 10x20 units. (They have 4 different sizes). Their phone service was a little confusing as they have two different self storage locations with different names and different websites. Their storage facility is clean, easy to get into and has pull through access for big trucks. It's off the main road for privacy and easy access. It's got a variety of different sized units for reasonable prices. It was easy to get someone to book the unit, but a few times I had issues it was hard to find someone to help me. Issue #1: The entrance gate didn't work with my code after using it for a whole day. I had to sneak in and find the release to let myself in (not really secure). At other times, the gate was broken and left open. Issue #2: When you call their "emergency number" no one answers. Issue #3: Not all locks work on these doors. Make sure you get one of those round locks that clicks into itself or you WON'T BE ABLE TO LOCK THE DOOR. I would store things here again if need be, but want others to be aware of the issues that may arise.

This could not be a shadier business if it tried to. Used to be locally owned, maintenance on…read moresite. You cannot get issues resolved over the phone to the midwest call center. Prices were raised from $102/month to $200 in 2020 then continued to go up $40/year for no reason. Unit was overrun with mice and ceiling was caving in. They put a red lock on my unit accidentally and it took 3 months and a letter from the Better Business Bureau to finally get a locksmith out there. DO NOT STORE ANYTHING HERE.

not sure why it shows San Francisco as my location but this was Windham, Maine…read more DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY We used liberty bell in 2020 when we moved to Maine and the cost was around $300 for unloading the truck. We were pleased with the service then and decided to use them again to load our moving truck in April 2023. We were quoted for 2 movers for two hours for $518 which we paid. I suspected a price increase given inflation over the last few years so this number was acceptable, though high. However, days after our move they charged our card nearly $300 more, without approval. I attempted to call and email for a phone call which they would not return. They sent an email break down of the bill that showed three movers and 13 minutes over the two hours. They did send 3 movers as opposed to the two quoted (two were in training) and this was not a request we made. Additionally the movers broke a piece of our furniture (a tv stand that we ended of giving to one of them) and tore a hole in our couch. We went over the time by 13 minutes. This company is corrupt and the management are thieves. DO NOT USE. You'd be better off posting in your neighborhood site for some young adults needing to make some extra money as opposed to having your money stolen from you later. I work hard and this company is disgusting.
