I could have done them all in the 15 minutes but I told him I would go in and get my bottles and leave. Basically, he told me not to bother and that customer service was the last thing on their mind. I've been patronizing this redemption center every two weeks for the three years we've lived in Old Orchard Beach and I will not go back... ever. I recommend never going here because you're rewarding bad service and rude management.

Lady asked for my phone number and said they would call me when they were done. That was a Saturday, I finally called on the following Tuesday and the guy said they were done. Showed up on Wednesday at like 2:45pm and no one was around even though the sign on the door says 3pm. Went back on the following Saturday and they were rude first off, and gave me back only $40! I toured ECO Maine today and I must say it is an…read moreamazing place.when you first enter the lot, you notice bales of plastic, metal cardboard and paper. Did you know that there are seven different types of plastic am that can be recycled. I also learned that until recently we shipped all of our bales of paper to China. They aren't taking any paper now, however ECO Maine is hoping they open up again soon, as they are storing all the paper at the plant. bext, We toured the facility itself and what a remarkable place. You see conveyors moving items arond. You see magnets attracting metal. You see air puffing only on certain types of plastic containers separating them. You even see people hand separating the items. My biggest thrill out of all there dynamic machines was the front loader pushing and lifting recycled items onto the conveyor belt. I just brought the kid out of me as I remembered playing with those Tonka Trucks. As the tour wound down I saw where all the trash ends up. It gets put in a hopper that is six, count them, six stories high. There the trash falls into one of two incinerators that heats up to 18,000 degrees Fahrenheit and burns into an ash. Unfortunately, no one has invented a good use for this ash, so it simply gets put in a land fill. This tour has opened my eyes as to how much goes into my recycles and trash once they leave my curb. I will certainly work hard at making sure items end up where they are supposed to!

They used this excuse in defence to justify stealing from customers. To add insult to injury and to gaslight customers calling them on their ripoff skeme, they will say: 1. "You are the only customer who want to add up your machine receipts (MAINE BOTTLE REDEMPTION LAW SAY CUSTOMERS CAN COUNT THEIR RECEIPTS.) 2. You're the only customer who question our counting. If you don't like it here, or if you keep questing us, you can go elsewhere. WHAT IF ALL THEIR CUSTOMERS GOT FED UP AND WENT ELSEWHERE? WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO THEIR BUSINESS (WHEN A LOT OF REDEMPTION CENTERS ARE GOING OUT OF BUSINESS AS WE TALK.) THEN?
