Went here twice while in town. The staff were super friendly and helpful while also giving me time to look around. They had some good options. I was surprised to see it wasn't super busy, considering its convenient location in a popular tourist area, and I was helped quickly both times I stopped in. I also appreciated how well lit the dispensary was. Sometimes dispensaries can feel dim and dingy, but this one was bright, clean and vibrant. I was staying at a nearby hotel and from the reviews I was skeptical of coming to this location. I am glad I came to see it for myself. My experience was pretty good! The ID checked at the door was friendly. And the bud tender, Orion (I cannot remember his name! But it was close to this, so sorry!) was beyond helpful, personable and walked my brother through all the questions he had. He never lost patience or gave off the attitude of not wanting to help. TLDR: Perfect for tourists; not the first choice for locals, but it does the trick. This has to be the most hole-in-the-wall dispensary I've ever been to in SF (and I've been to dozens). It's literally just steps from the street to the weed. Recently, while spending the weekend in the Fisherman's Wharf area with a friend, I found myself in need of some chronic pain relief. Seaweed was close by, and open, but what really sold me was the name, as I have a stoner friend who goes by the same nickname. The check-in spot was basically a computer cart by the door. Taking photos inside of dispensaries is highly frowned upon (and usually banned), but, if I remember correctly, there wasn't even a separate foyer. The selection was touristy, but not bad. I ended up grabbing a couple of flavored $5 pre-rolls, and they got the job done. If you're a tourist who has never been to SF and just wants to see what visiting a dispensary is like, this is the PERFECT place for you. The check-in process is very easy, and you don't need to be a connoisseur to pick out something decent. On the other hand, if you are looking for something very specific, or if you're trying to get the best possible value, this might not be the right place for you. It is a little over-priced, which makes sense, given the location. Although this shop is in SF, the ambiance reminded me of Santa Cruz. It felt like a little skate shop. The green sea turtle mural was beautiful. Overall, this place was alright. In a pinch, I'd come back again. read more

But the best one is in Fisherman's Wharf -- slyly titled Seaweed Dispensary It has a boutique feel and staff who could be interchangeable with, say, an Apple Store's Genius Bar. Owner John is an industry expert with 3 decades of experience -- and personally knows many of the chemists/biologists behind the high-design brands the store stocks. Staff was very friendly and helpful, and product selection was great! We were VERY satisfied customers, and returned the next day for extra goodiez for the remainder of our trip. We walked a few blocks down, and voila, we were welcomed in with open arms! First, the staff here are so friendly and patient! I'm a super indecisive person, so I went back and forth for a bit and ultimately decided on some fruit chews and cartridge. The staff were helpful in recommending flavors. They even had a sale going on for Fleet Week, so I had to take advantage of that! I later found out that this dispensary opened just a few weeks ago, and the owners are LGBTQ+. On our way back from who knows what on what day of our trip, we passed this place and the girls wanted to get some edibles. I was turning 30 in a few hours so I decided to yolo as well. My problem with edibles is that I have been waking up all anxious and nervous after a night of having any type of cannabis. The guys at the store (sorry I do not remember your names) were so knowledgeable and patient with me. They knew which ingredients would make me anxious and what would be too strong for me after hearing my life story. I got a little thing of sour blueberry edibles that really did what the guy said would do. Put me to sleep and help me unwind from a long day of work. $22 for 20 pieces? The girls and I did end up consuming half my stash and I only had 9 left by the time I was flying back home, but it was fine. Just shows how good these were. Am I a little bitter? Of course, but we will deal. Speaking of deals, when I mentioned it was my 30th birthday in a few hours, they gave us all a bday discount. Such nice ppl and such great products! The shop is great, and the staff is very friendly--except for one person who sadly appeared to be a manager , Pam. I believe. Smaller lady who slithers around and barks orders. I visited with a friend last week after an event in San Francisco to pick up some products I was excited about, including some new brands for my friend. Although we initially declined assistance from a team member after about 2 minutes we had some questions and also wanted to place an order, we started asking questions about 3 or 4 items after about 2 minutes Pam then intervened, abruptly cutting us off and making us feel unwelcomed. She barked out for him to take his lunch in the middle of our conversation she did not offer to help us herself nor did she say anyone else would help us she just barked at this to go on their lunch I thought this was really weird because we were in the middle of a conversation but another bartender quiclly came and asked us if we needed help as he could see what had happened and that we clearly mistreated. He started to help us when she again barked but this time for him to help the next people they had just walked in the building and I didn't understand why us placing an order was less important than them placing as someone who was in Customer Service and very versed in cannabis. I thought this was really strange considering we had been in the shop for less than 5 minutes and had already experienced two consecutive issues with her putting us to the side nevertheless we waited patiently as we could tell that the burtender was only trying to do their job and listen to what who appeared to be upper management someone who obviously should not be in her role and doesn't understand anything about how to make a sale or a customer service told hime to do. So after waiting about 4 minutes for him to finish with that customer I finished my question which was where are the closest ATMs and do you take credit card though my friend had cash which we made very clear I wanted to get more stuff than what she had cash for so I wanted to go to an ATM he begin to tell me the ATMs that were closed when she again barked at him to help another person now three times and we have only been in the store 10 minutes or less this seems extremely targeted and I'm not 100% sure why was my money not good enough why were my questions not important enough to be answered. I at this point the bartender apologized but went to help the other people as he was demanded to do I then waited for him to finish with the customer now being in the shop feeling extremely awkward for around about 15 minutes. We waited to complete a transaction that should have been less than three or four minutes. As soon as he finished with the customer I continued to ask my question which was simply where is the closest ATM he let me know about a couple and I decided to go to find one. on the way out I felt extremely unsettled and targeted. why was my inquiry and questions not important and not helped why was the manager barking at the teammates to help other people. I'm sure they knew exactly what was going on and would help them when they had time why was someone barely walking in the door more important than somebody who had already picked out items and was waiting to purchase them or find out a way to purchase more. PAM alone lost money for the stop and probably does often. Jt doesn't make sense for a business one it deters customers too you're losing money . I decided not to go to the ATM as me and my friend both no longer wanted to go there or be around this woman this unpleasant interaction with Pam dampened our overall experience in an otherwise excellent store. Unfortunately me and my friend whose first time it was at this location and only my second time will never be going back again you have lost us as customers but because of how great the service has been in the past and how nice everyone else was and how they clearly have to deal with this person on a daily basis I thought it best to write the details in the message but still give a four-star rating . Its awful shat one person can make such a big difference at a location deciding whether or not customers will return but if the business wants to keep someone like that it is a business I will not be taking my money to. read more

I searched and found this one nearby. I walked up and was helped a few minutes later by Freddy (sorry if I spelled that wrong). He was super friendly and helped me choose a pax pod. I've been struggling to find a perfect brand for me. Even tho he preferred a different brand, he recommended one that he thought would be best for me and so far it's the best I've tried! They probably ok for tourists dropping in but their online order process is not good. if you order online you're still expected to wait in the regular line, which defeats the whole purpose. The staff were short with me when I asked whether there was a separate line for online orders, saying they've been too busy to fill fill online orders. The security guard at the front continually called me a guy, even though I'm clearly not a guy. Overall I'm not impressed with their customer service. I ended up cancelling my order and going to another dispensary. read more
