Down home food such as pies, sausage rolls and the steak sandwich. These can be bought to take away, or pick up a newspaper and a cuppa and have a pleasant sit down out the front and watch Sturt road speed to places unknown. Another prominent and Aussie (particularly South Aussie) item up for purchase here is the state's beloved Farmer's Union Iced Coffee. CJ's window is emblazoned with the union's colourings and motifs.

Hove Deli is home to some incredible Banh Mi style deli rolls…read more Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure Banh Mi is basically a roll which houses a form of meat, cucumber, carrot, shallots, and lemongrass, as well as a buttery aoili style sauce/spread. I could be mistaken, but that's what the lady told me, and due to her accent and her wonderful friendly nature, I'm going to take her word for it. Anyway, they have 5 flavours such as lemongrass chicken, honey soy chicken, sweet chilli chicken, satay beef, or roast pork. Having sampled all of them roughly 37 times each, I'm prepared to say they are all incredible, however, for me the sweet chilli chicken is the ultimate. For just $6.20 you really can't go wrong. They also sell SA Lotteries gear, a large range of drinks, spring rolls, other little trinkets and bulk beef jerkey for just $26 a bag.
