Had a Floridian Coffee Roasters espresso for $5.00 which was at the high end of the price spectrum for a single shot but the roasty aroma and the medium bold taste superceded the cost. The coffee was presented in a white ToGo cup bearing a logo in cursive "The Hedges Inn" at East Hampton, which is the Pink Paradise Café sister company. The barista/manager Courtney took us on an unexpected guided tour of the hotel. This was customer service at it's best. Did not even have to think twice about giving this café a strong five stars.

Everyone was warm, attentive, professional, and made us feel genuinely taken care of throughout the entire meal. Between the gorgeous setting, exceptional food, and incredible service, Sant Ambroeus is easily one of the best dining experiences in Palm Beach. The staff were absolutely wonderful via phone and email addressing my questions and concerns. Upon arrival I was astonished at how cute this place was. The outside hostess directed me to the inside host. I immediately saw some of my guest at a lovely long table set up in the back center. Our attentive waiter came over to bring us menus. Unfortunately most of my guests got caught up in the torrential downpour and were running behind. The waiter assured me that we were quite alright to wait if we preferred. I decided to start with a cocktail. The testa Rossa was recommended. I ended up giving it to my husband as it was rather strong and I did not taste watermelon nor coconut. I went with the second recommendation of the strawberry bliss. Another strong drink which the gin overpowered the other flavors. I may skip the cocktails if I come back as I did not fancy either of the ones I tasted. I tried some of Lisa's sunflower seed toast which came with the cutest set up of butter and delicious apricot and strawberry jam. For my lunch I decided on the Cacio de Pepe which was cheesily delicious and transported me back to Rome. Now for the star of the show, the Principessa which was probably the best cakes I've ever had. Each bite is so light with subtle lemon, vanilla and whipped cream, it practically melts in your mouth. I washed down the cake with a cappuccino Viennese. On my way out I took the time to walk over to the dessert and pastries counter where I spied my next selection for my next visit. Overall it was a fantastic day minus the weather which I did not allow to rain on the celebration of my special day.

I also shared the almond croissant which was delicious and flakey with the right amount of sweetness. My friend got a bagel sandwich which looked filling and delicious! We noticed lots of people coming into do some work and enjoy coffee time with family and friends. Next time I come I will definitely try the matcha and they offer several season flavors and drinks. We started off by ordering some pastries to bring home to the family, including the carrot cake croissant, lavender cardamom bun, almond cookie, and bacon chocolate chip cookie. My favorite is definitely the carrot cake croissant. It's so good and has the perfect amount of sweetness. I also ordered an orange blossom latte with regular milk. I love all of the different specials they have, and there's always something new and exciting to try. We ordered two entrees to split, starting with the daily special salad. It came with arugula, tomatoes, quinoa, watermelon radish, ricotta salata, pickled cauliflower, and a citrus vinaigrette. OMG, the salad was everything I needed and more! The dressing was so good, and every ingredient worked perfectly together. However, my favorite part of the salad was definitely the pickled cauliflower... YUM! We also ordered one of our classic favorites from Aioli, the turkey & Brie. It comes on walnut sourdough with turkey, Brie, arugula, and cranberry aioli. We always ask for extra aioli on the side because it's so good. The sandwich is definitely enough for two people to share since it comes as two mini sandwiches, both toasted to perfection. We got the black bean orzo as our side, which was good, but definitely wasn't the highlight compared to everything else we ordered. Overall, Aioli continues to be one of our favorite spots in West Palm Beach. Everything is consistently delicious, and the menu always gives us something new to look forward to. See you soon aioli!
