Dear Allure Esthetic Team,…read more I am writing to express my gratitude for the exceptional care I received during my recent surgery and post-op care. I would like to extend my thanks to Dr. Sajan, Dr. Khezri, Chansotie, Tina, and Shelby for their professionalism, kindness, and expertise. Dr. Sajan was very honest with me about what I could expect from my surgery and made sure I had a realistic goal for my physical results. He was professional, caring, kind, and funny throughout the process. Dr. Khezri was also kind, caring, and funny. My sister mentioned that he stayed with the staff and waited until I was in the care of my sister before he left to go home for the night. Chansotie and Tina at the Kirkland office were both very helpful before and after the surgery. They were knowledgeable, kind, and caring. Shelby at the Seattle office was so sweet, kind, helpful, and understanding. She has a wonderful bedside manner, and I wish she would have been at every one of my post-op appointments. I am only a couple of weeks out of surgery and am pleased with my results thus far. I came to Dr. Sanjan from another state to fix a prior breast lift and mini tummy tuck. I will update you during my process. Thank you again for your exceptional care. I would highly recommend Allure Esthetic to anyone seeking medical care. Surgical team: Dr Sajan, Dr.Khezri (anesthesia), Chansotie (nurse), Tina (PA). Post-op care: Shelby (MA) Sincerely, Danika Bowman

And while under I figured I could do some rhinoplasty to correct the shape of my nose. I looked at a few places, nervous because I've never had surgery before. After meeting Dr Schvindler, I knew this was the place. For me, I didn't want some sterile Beverly Hills plastic surgeon, I wanted a compassionate, warm place and a doctor who helps Vets, teaches, and specializes on face. So after a few months the day finally arrived! I had a 6am appointment and nervous, no idea how much pain I'll be in afterward, and thought about backing out. But I press forward, comforted by the amazing anesthesiologist whom made me laugh and stayed with me the whole time. After getting on the table, I fell asleep without even noticing I was about to and woke up basically on my way home. My wife putting me to bed I didn't feel tired and in fact felt energetic. The most profound thing is that I didn't even take the strong pain killers at any time afterwards. I felt no pain at any stage ever. Sure the first day is like a really bad cold, and you are super stuffy but each day gets better and in a week you are back to normal. After the first day the gel in your nose disintegrates. Nothing else goes in there. So a month later writing this, yes it will take a while for swelling subside but an amazing experience. I am so thankful for Dr S. If you are on the fence even, book an appointment and come here. I can't believe I suffered so many years with a crooked nose. Night and day

Let me tell you- these results surpassed my expectations and i cannot thank Dr Joe AND Melissa enough for helping me feel beautiful and secure with myself. 10/10 recommend. The recovery was actually not as bad as i had hyped it to be either, having the nurses be available by text was so nice and greatly appreciated. Side note- the office is great, from the front desk, the financing, doctors and nurses. This was also the first time that i didn't wake up sick from anesthesia.

To summarize, he…read morecares, he's brilliant and incredibly detailed, he gives out his mobile phone number to you just before surgery. He REALLY cares! Here's an example. About 6 weeks after my breast reconstruction, a small lump formed under the scar. I live 2+ hours away in Olympia and asked my PCP about it. She palpated it and scheduled me for an ultrasound. As a courtesy, I phoned Dr. Welk's office to let them know what was up, and was put through to his nurse. After consulting with him, she said I should skip the ultra-sound and drive up to Seattle. I resisted, as I was concerned about the 2-hour drive and missing a full day of work. I told his nurse I'll just do the ultra-sound. Well, Dr. Welk phoned me personally to explain why the ultra-sound would be a huge waste of my time and money. He said he could tell more by palpating the lump than the ultrasound. But he didn't stop there. He offered to come into the office early and see me before his first surgery, which would allow me to beat the traffic. If it turned out to be nothing, I'd only miss a couple of hours of work. Well, it turned out NOT to be nothing (but luckily not more cancer). To save me another round-trip drive to Seattle, Dr. Welk squeezed me in between surgeries later that morning. He did a small surgery with a local anesthetic, and I was on my way by 12:00 noon. I'd also like to add that my surgery sites look beautiful. He does lots of wonderful teeny tiny little stitches. My scars have healed wonderfully! I adore Dr. Welk... he's brilliant, he's funny, and he's a damn good surgeon!

UW Medicine Primary Care at Belltown - Bad "doctors," bad people. I have to learn how to trust doctors again after my experiences with my spinal surgery and the UW.

Things I've been diagnosed with by Virginia Mason after resident PCPs at the UW said I was faking…read morethe head, neck, and back pain I suffered from not even 6 months out from a failed neck surgery that resulted in multiple government investigations and the firing of my spinal surgeon: Chiari brain malformation, missed dozens of times by every UW radiologist and neurologist I ever encountered. Utterly inept. Spinal cord damage Occipital neuralgia, a painful condition that is described as debilitating by all credible sources. The UW wanted to stop all treatment and pain care: if they had been successful, I would be screaming in bed all day, every day, instead of living my life. They were trying to hurt me. Thoracic scoliosis (also missed by every single UW employee, even though it was glaringly obvious to even a layman in my imaging) Several missed Tarlov cysts in my spine I was told I need an almost complete surgical ribcage reconstruction due to numerous abnormalities likely stemming from further discovered abnormalities in my spine and pelvis. I had 100% government disability in addition to my very recent failed neck surgery: still, untrained, unspecialized doctors told me I was lying for attention. Hilary Iskin even told me she didn't bother to look through my chart, but had still decided I was faking it based off of pure prejudice and preconceived notions. David Rink used past sexual violence committed against me as psychological "evidence" that I was fabricating my profound and extensively documented health conditions, and put fraudulent and libelous information in my chart. Both of them refused to make any referrals for me to speak to specialists - they even refused to refer me to an orthopedist after my spinal surgery. They hurt and stymied me and my family. The fact that I have been violently raped (with legal proceedings) made David Rink inherently suspicious of my ability to report honestly about my body. This is blatant and insidious misogyny, and Rink should lose his ability to access the charts of any female patients for the rest of his life. He should not have the ability to work with any victims ever again. He should not be in medicine. Hospital staff asked me about the rape, and Rink pounced on that information - I never would've told him I was assaulted, as he had already raised his voice at me by this point for asking questions about his proposed "treatment" (only antidepressants, which time.com says is a toxic, widespread, and misogynistic practice that sexist doctors use to invalidate disbelieved chronically ill women). Sexual/psychological history is supposed to be protected information in patient charts. I feel violated a second time, as he used my assault that he learned about without my knowledge or consent to revictimize me, all because I had the gall to have been a victim, and to have trauma, pain, and a medical history that he wasn't competent, integrous, or academically curious enough to decipher. I believe he is hateful, profoundly judgmental, sexist (an accusation I take seriously and have never before levied against anyone), and deeply dangerous to the well-being of anyone he doesn't personally understand ... which will be many, as he's still in training. Iskin is the sort of woman who says she champions women's rights, but is actually a judgmental mean girl - she was even weirdly passive aggressive about my skirt. Please, if you're a woman, consider a different doctor. She's stereotypically medically misogynistic and does not believe women's pain. Despite having 9 weeks to prepare for my appointment, she read nothing about me, and then declared nothing was wrong because she saw nothing (!!). Her medical neglect and malpractice snowballed into the rest of the abuse I suffered at the UW. Her cruelty, laziness, and abject lack of care or consideration changed the course of my life. I wonder what it is about me that made Iskin decide to dismiss me entirely before even speaking to me. My age? My sex? My autism? My disability? ... we'll find out in court. The UW constitutionally changed how I feel about doctors: I was diagnosed with C-PTSD by a therapist who specializes in medical trauma. I feel so much fear that I no longer go to appointments without an advocate, which has changed my life significantly as I'm disabled and have many regular appointments. I'm confident I almost died multiple times during a string of UW hospitalizations involving spinal procedures with major complications. The UW is a misogynistic and incompetent organization with residents who hurt, maim, and kill. At the encouragement of my new medical team, I'll be suing, and speaking publicly about these "doctors" and the UW for the rest of my life. More in my previous reviews. (Don't listen to the reviews on the UW Medicine website - you can't submit reviews online and won't find a single physician rated under 4.8, it's corrupt. Turn to healthgrades, where these doctors have a 1 or a 2 rating.)
