That's just how it is in Vienna's Margareten district. The menu here is large but if you are new to Bulgarian dining, I recommend going with the "K's." That means begin with a superb Katuk appetizer. The yogurt, sheep's cheese, roasted paprika, and dill concoctions are a great way to get your taste buds in tune with Southeastern Europe. For your entrée you cannot go wrong with a Kavarma cooked and served in the famous Bulgarian Gyuveche. I ordered the Chicken Kavarma and this slow-cooked stew was piping hot, tender and tasty. Vienna is very fortunate in having Bulgarian restaurants. I mean how many Italian, Chinese, and Sushi restaurants does a city need? Now reward your taste buds and support these Bulgarian eateries!

Check-in was prompt with the host and included a complimentary coat check. The restaurant was modern and staff were super cordial throughout the evening. Started off with the XO Beef tartare and it was tasty. The toast was fresh and the beef was tasty, topped with some creme fraiche. Portions were perfect for a couple diners. Moved on to the Wiener Schnitzel with veal and it was tasty. The veal was lightly breaded and lightly fried served with a potato salad along with a lingonberry side. Portions were gigantic and the entree could easily be shared for a couple diners. Finished off the meal with the Bienenstitch and it was tasty. This was a lighter way to finish off the meal.
