That's just how it is in Vienna's Margareten district. The menu here is large but if you are new to Bulgarian dining, I recommend going with the "K's." That means begin with a superb Katuk appetizer. The yogurt, sheep's cheese, roasted paprika, and dill concoctions are a great way to get your taste buds in tune with Southeastern Europe. For your entrée you cannot go wrong with a Kavarma cooked and served in the famous Bulgarian Gyuveche. I ordered the Chicken Kavarma and this slow-cooked stew was piping hot, tender and tasty. Vienna is very fortunate in having Bulgarian restaurants. I mean how many Italian, Chinese, and Sushi restaurants does a city need? Now reward your taste buds and support these Bulgarian eateries!

Our server, Gregory, made the night so unbelievably special. He was incredibly kind and helpful, taking the time to explain the dishes to us and helping us order the right amount of food for the table. His service truly made the entire experience. As for the food, just order the entire menu because everything was incredible! Every single appetizer we had somehow felt like the best thing we'd ever eaten. There was an artichoke dish in particular that was absolutely unbelievable. We had a party of five and made a reservation a few weeks in advance, which I would definitely recommend doing. The atmosphere inside is so funky and fun, but we ended up choosing to sit outside on the patio, which was such a wonderful experience. It sounds a little crazy to say that a night out at a restaurant became a core memory from an entire Europe trip, but it truly did.
