The call they made to me where I VERBALLY CONFIRMED my family's appointments

Don't bother with this dental office if you need care for your family. They had us wait six months for an appointment to become patients with them (six years ago we had a great experience with them, which is why I returned, but things in this office have changed for the worse.) only to cancel our appointment with two hours' notice after our entire family schedule was rearranged, and my husband's work was made to accommodate the appointment. I spoke with Seaside Lifetime Dentistry twice, once on the 18th on the pictured screenshot, when I told the woman calling we would "definitely be there," and again this morning at 8am just to check I had the time for our appointment correct. This was an appointment for **all four members** of our family to be seen, so I wanted to double check as it is very important to us. A few minutes after I got off the phone with them this morning, a woman from Seaside called me back saying that our appointments had all been canceled. They were unable to contact me additional two times between the first time I spoke with them (and confirmed we would be at our appointment) and this morning, due to their phone system saying my number "was restricted." It has NEVER been restricted. She said THOSE two calls, conveniently, were the actual confirmation calls and that the call that went through to me successfully pictured in the screenshots with this review was just a "reminder call" so my verbal confirmation then did not count as an official confirmation. I told her that their phone system being messed up was not my problem and that as evidenced by her call to me this morning, they obviously had my correct contact information. I also explained that we have been waiting for this appointment for six months and she even confirmed to me that the people that they moved into our spot had only been in our spot for "a few days" because the change to the schedule was only made a few days ago yet, Seaside Lifetime dentistry chose to honor the appointment time with those people who had only had the slot for **a few days** rather than our entire family who had been waiting on these slots for over six months, previously confirmed verbally, followed instructions sent to us in a text message and did not call to change or reschedule anything. She said she would see if the dental hygienist could "work us in," (as if we hadn't had these slots for six months!!) and of course the answer was no. Then I asked her if it would it be another six-month wait before our next appointment, and she said yes that it would be "several months," so I told her to not worry about us that we would take our business elsewhere because this was extremely unprofessional on their part. So we lost a **verbally confirmed** appointment that had been waited for by four people for over half a year because they tried to call me **two times** with their phone system messed up saying my number was restricted when it has **never** been restricted. Again, it seemed to work just fine when they called to cancel the appointment on us with two hours' notice. I have never been treated so unprofessionally by a dental practice in my entire life, and we used to be happy patients at Seaside, but obviously things have changed for worse since. They should be ashamed of themselves if this is the type of customer service they now provide, and they do not deserve mine or your hard earned money. Take your business elsewhere if you want to be treated like a valued customer instead of just another number in their line.

What I don't like is the company decides to tell me to not come back because I posted I was upset that they were closed on Friday on Facebook because I was in dire pain and had to wait 4 days to be seen. Any normal human being would be upset. It wasn't anything personal I was in pain. When I got seen, I posted lots of pictures about how great a job they did and how nice they were. They didn't care about those. They told me I was no longer was a client .. then I would have to find somebody else to do my crown from my root canal that I paid them for. I did not comment negative on their performance or facility. I didn't post how they trorder to give me medicine I was allergic to. I caught it and they gave me another one that I ended up being allergic to but still I didn't say anything negative ... I did sense a weird feeling the last day I went in. Something felt off and they acted different towards me but I had no idea. It's childish and ridiculous!!! If I didn't pay them or I was constantly late or missed appointments I could see but there was no reason to get rid of me. If they cared about their clients they would've spoken to me about it and asked me. We could've had a conversation but they didn't care so I don't care about them anymore
