Low bed, great for wheelchair transfer. Nice offset side, but accessible on either. Comfy. Power outlets and ADA speaker assist.

Wheelchair accessible and a wonderful stay! Very clean and modern, well thought out ADA amenities. Friendly and helpful staff. Onsite bar/restaurant. Be aware of the additional parking fee. So conveniently located for sea bus transit across the water. Great local vibe in the heart of "The Shipyards" district. Wheelchair accessible and a wonderful stay! Brand spanking new (opened Oct 2019) & smells like it (hallway carpet & wood panel walls - fresh & clean) the Seaside Hotel is the newest addition to the Shipyards District. Walked in to enquire about the brunch buffet & got a tour & room showing by wonderful manager - Ali! Folks get here yesterday if you're planning on staying over this side - the North Shore. Located centrally at the fabulous Shipyards District (see my Shipyards Night Market & JOEY Shipyards reviews) the Seaside Hotel is a must stay at hotel - location, newness, crisp decor, select ocean view rooms, friendly staff = yes yes yes book me pronto!!! The SD is an awesome lively area with pubs, restaurants & most of all - right by the water! The SH is a boutique style hotel. I highly recommend you check online rates & book a stay ASAP!!! Remember to ask & look for the - 'special' - rates! Hot tip - ask for & book room 401!!! As the bearded dude from the Mens Wearhouse says - "I guarantee it!"

Room I booked says it has a view and they want to give me a room with no windows what so ever.

Do not come here. False information on the rooms descriptions. Older rooms have no windows. So there is no views or water views whatsoever ever. The supervisor is rude and useless. The guy is shrugging his shoulders for having misleading room descriptions and not willing to cancel the booking even though I paid for water view and he is giving me a room with no windows. Don't stay here. Go to the pinnacle instead.

    Random bath products, not L'Occitane

Very disappointing. Their website says that they provide L'Occitane bath products, but they do not - it was a standard generic hotel brand and the conditioner was even empty. The tv remote did not work at all, we had to stream from our phone. We could hear everything that was going on in the hallway all night long. Super small room, which is fine if you're only using it to sleep.

    Review Highlights - Seaside Hotel

It is not your "typical" hotel restaurant and the food is as good or better than most of the Shipyard venues.

Recently booked a room with a view for our 50th anniversary, what a nightmare this place is. After paying a small fortune for the room, the manager refused to give us free breakfast, that all the other guest enjoyed. On the First night, I slipped in the shower/bath tub because these morons forgot to install grab bars on the wall inside the shower/tub unit. This is a major safety issue for someone 74 years old; we could not shower for the remaining nights during the stay. On the day of our anniversary, I was attacked in the lobby of this sick hotel, by one of their violent guests, directly in front of the hotel receptionist. When I requested that they call the police (RCMP), they refused and did nothing. In all my years as a professional safety engineer, I have never seen such a worn out, dangerous, and useless accommodation. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. BTW, there are several other significant hotels at the waterfront in North Vancouver, we will choose one of them next trip.

Lower Lonsdale has always been a pleasant…read moreplace and in more recent years they've added piers, galleries and even nightlife to the area. Aside from that, you're literally atop the Seabus terminal so you can get to downtown directly and quickly along with the pleasant ride that comes with it. You also have the market below, and though the shops IMO aren't much of a draw, it gives you pretty good food choices. Aside from the pluses above, I believe most or even all of the rooms have a view of the water - and if you're near the back you overlook downtown as well. The rooms themselves are nothing special and don't stand out at all, but they're serviceable. Contrary to what some reviews say, there is in fact a fitness room here, but it is small. It does have a small restaurant and I'd recommend looking into the packages which include breakfast and even 2-1 passes with local attractions as you'll save if you're travelling with at least another person. There's an argument given the prime location of this place that a really nice hotel could open up here and thrive. But as long as the Quay hotel sits here, don't expect much of a fancy stay - you do at least benefit from much better location, convenience and views than comparable 3 star hotels.

From the moment we pulled up to the valet through every interaction with room service and housekeeping, the team made us feel like royalty -- attentive without ever being intrusive, polished without feeling rehearsed. The room itself was a highlight. Soaking in the tub with the ocean and the North Shore mountains framed in front of us is an image I'll be holding onto for a long time. It's the kind of view the city is famous for, delivered from the comfort of your own suite.

Everything here feels modern, clean, and luxurious. Our room was beautiful, especially the bathroom with its dual sinks, separate bathtub and rain shower, and separate area for toilet. The Le Labo products were a nice touch, and everything from the towels, robes, slippers, and bedding felt luxe and high end. These beds and pillows were some of the best hotel beds/pillows I've ever slept on. We all slept so well! We also ordered room service for breakfast and everything was so good, with reasonable room service prices for the amount you get. Didn't use the gym, but it's recently renovated and beautiful. They provide iced water infused with electrolytes and there are even Pilates machines! There's also a heated rooftop outdoor pool that we didn't have time to take advantage of too. Not only is this hotel amazing, but it's in a prime location to everything - especially if you're a first time visitor to Vancouver. It's super easy to hop on the shuttle to the suspension bridge, or take a sea boat or hop on the subway to/from the airport. It's also walking distance to Gastown, Robson Street, Stanley Park and the Seawall. Highly recommend this hotel if you're in the city!

This is also where you hang your key when you leave the house so they know who is here. We got the Under the Apple Tree Room which was spacious and nicely decorated. It even had its own private yard. Also has gas fireplace, jacuzzi style tub and stand up shower. The heated bathroom floor was a nice touch. If you get tired of your room you can also enjoy sitting outside on a deck or the living room. We really enjoyed relaxing on the couch back in our room in front of the fire place. Morning came a bit too soon. Was hard to get up out of the super comfortable down blankets on the King bed. The breakfast was ready though and included three delicious courses.
