I was kind of nervous about that because I thought the freon would leak possibly. He assured me that it was not a common issue. The fridge and freezer and icemaker started working the way they were supposed to, but after a couple months, I started to notice a warp in my floorboards. I wasn't even thinking about the refrigerator repair. Thought maybe some water had been spilled. Problem kept getting worse and finally I pulled the refrigerator from the wall and took the back plate off and saw that water was dripping condensation from the saddle valve that he put on. I sent him a picture of said saddle valve and he denied ever putting it on after I sat there and talked to him about it while he was doing it. He literally told me it was a closed system and the only way to add Freon was to splice into it.. No one else had ever worked on my fridge. This was all via text message. The next thing I know he is calling me. He wanted to know what the problem was, and I explained. He denied ever installing the saddle valve and told me that he would never put one on and that the condensation was from ordinary every day humidity. I've had this refrigerator and floor for 14 years without a problem. He asked me if there was a charge for a saddle valve on the invoice. He said that if he would have put one in it would've cost $16. (It is interesting how he knows exactly how much one costs when he never installs them.) He asked me what he wanted me to do. I said fix it. He told me I was lying and said screw you and hung up the phone. This guy is a hothead. Beware.

This machine belonged to my mother and since she's passed, the sentimental value has gone up for me. On my second visit, a reschedule to try again, to learn how to work my serger, I forgot the instruction book. The women did explain a little of the basics but could not teach or explain "anything" else. In the brief 10 minutes she spent with me. She spoke to me in a slight sarcastic tone and used words describing functions as if I knew what she was talking about. As she offered her future assistance, if I would come back with the book, a lady from the back offered me a $20 discount. My instructor (I'll use that term loosely) jumped in to debate this and said "she's coming back" I said I'd like to take the $20 dollars off and try on my own. Sorry I forgot my book, I'll take the hit for that. But this women could use a lesson in friendliness. I feel ripped off and embarrassed. All I wanted to do was hurry up and leave after that!! I contacted LG directly about my problems and was told the Control Panel on the dishwasher was under warranty?? Why didn't Nick tell me that?. A-1 was prompt a coming out, knowing they would collect their inspection charge. After that, no help at all. I did contact A-1 and explained about what LG had said, but I received an explanation that they would have no way of knowing about the Warranty on the Control Panel. That shocked me because when I did my research and spoke to them (Tracy twice) I had read that they were a local LG representative.
