The next morning they called first thing and informed me they were on their way. An hour 15 min. later the problem was fixed and running again as it should. I can't stress enough the quality and professionalism that this company truely provides. They even took a loss in cost and charged me less than they quoted. They are the ONLY Heat and Air company I will ever use again. Old school honesty and AAA+ service Thanks Dustin, Chris, Joe.

I was impressed at…read morefirst with 1st Choice Heating but upon working (or trying) to work with them further the more I became wary and distrusting of this company. My HVAC died and it's old, they don't make it anymore. I'm also dealing with a horrible warranty company. When their tech came out, he was personable and very helpful and went a little above and beyond to help me which was impressive. The second time they came out, felt the same way. The situation still wasn't resolved as I was informed by my warranty company I needed a second opinion from a DIFFERENT company. Brad told me he would stick by me and help me out. The day of our third appointment came and Brad was going to come back with a friend of another company. He called 5 min before my appointment and canceled. I asked him to get back to me ASAP to reschedule as I work full time. A week goes by and I don't hear back from anyone even after texting. I finally heard back and was told that I need to go with a different company. There were other odd reasonings as to why they couldn't come out or accommodate me. I was also quoted SUPER high. Disappointed and confused by my experience with first heating, just be wary and use your judgment.

Getting to the unit in the attic was a challenge, and they were extremely careful with walls, flooring and doorways. Price and equipment was competitive, but the service was beyond expectations. I hired this electrician for an assessment and paid the $145 fee, which he said would be waived if…read morewe approved the estimate. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from start to finish. The assessment itself was not thorough -- he was unable to determine basic specifications of the light fixture, which is surprising for a licensed electrician charging professional rates. He also mentioned that the lights might not need full replacement until other faulty parts and wiring were addressed, yet still quoted over $4,500 with heavily marked-up parts. When I asked if he could revise the estimate or let me know what price he could reasonably work with, he told me he'd get back to me shortly. He didn't. The next day, when I followed up, he abruptly ended the conversation and said the business relationship "wouldn't work," despite my being clear that I wasn't trying to lowball him -- I was simply trying to align on pricing before moving forward. It came across as though he was more interested in collecting the assessment fee than actually doing the job. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend his services.

The appliances were an utter disaster. I don't believe the owner even looked at these machines. The washer would not let water in. The dryer smelled like it was smoking and sounded like rocks were banging around inside. When checked it had literally 2 garbage bags worth of lint on the motor inside. And there were rocks and coins and leaves inside. She took pictures. The stove has a relay that keeps getting hotter and hotter which she can't afford to fix right now. Two other burners are questionable. The fridge bangs and she says she is unsure how much life it has because now water is showing up in the freezer. Trying to contact the owner is nigh impossible unless you want to sit in front of the shop for a day or two and hope he shows up. His phone is not working. She now wishes she had read some of the poor reviews. Beware. Who can afford to truck four appliances back and forth to someone who didn't live up to their part of the deal in the beginning. Ridiculous.
