The appliances were an utter disaster. I don't believe the owner even looked at these machines. The washer would not let water in. The dryer smelled like it was smoking and sounded like rocks were banging around inside. When checked it had literally 2 garbage bags worth of lint on the motor inside. And there were rocks and coins and leaves inside. She took pictures. The stove has a relay that keeps getting hotter and hotter which she can't afford to fix right now. Two other burners are questionable. The fridge bangs and she says she is unsure how much life it has because now water is showing up in the freezer. Trying to contact the owner is nigh impossible unless you want to sit in front of the shop for a day or two and hope he shows up. His phone is not working. She now wishes she had read some of the poor reviews. Beware. Who can afford to truck four appliances back and forth to someone who didn't live up to their part of the deal in the beginning. Ridiculous.

The rate for his service calls are reasonable ($55), and unlike other repairmen ... he is honest when it comes to telling you what it will cost to fix a used appliance. You can tell he is a hard-working guy and he even guarantees his work (which is hard to find these days). Redfern's Appliance was a great find.

He serviced the machine and cleaned the motor brushes but he was concerned about the longevity of the motor. A couple of days later, my machine quit again. It was necessary to replace the motor as he predicted. Greg located a new replacement motor and installed it. My machine is working again. I appreciate his workmanship plus his prices are very reasonable.

My HVAC died and it's old, they don't make it anymore. I'm also dealing with a horrible warranty company. When their tech came out, he was personable and very helpful and went a little above and beyond to help me which was impressive. The second time they came out, felt the same way. The situation still wasn't resolved as I was informed by my warranty company I needed a second opinion from a DIFFERENT company. Brad told me he would stick by me and help me out. The day of our third appointment came and Brad was going to come back with a friend of another company. He called 5 min before my appointment and canceled. I asked him to get back to me ASAP to reschedule as I work full time. A week goes by and I don't hear back from anyone even after texting. I finally heard back and was told that I need to go with a different company. There were other odd reasonings as to why they couldn't come out or accommodate me. I was also quoted SUPER high. Disappointed and confused by my experience with first heating, just be wary and use your judgment.

Chris their tech listened to the symptons and jumped right into troubleshooting the issue. Determined the issue informed me that the part needed would'nt be available untill Tuesday morning. The next morning they called first thing and informed me they were on their way. An hour 15 min. later the problem was fixed and running again as it should. I can't stress enough the quality and professionalism that this company truely provides. They even took a loss in cost and charged me less than they quoted.
