Very attentive, safely about electronic and sufficient service. Responsible, respectful, professional and friendly.

I left a review on Monday with 3 stars thinking that Sears would send the repair person back to my home to correct the problem that he created, but they did not. I called the repair person several times but only got voice mail, and calls Sears and spoke to customer service. they assured me that the repair person would return before the end of the day to correct the problem. he never returned and the contents of my freezer thawed out. I had to throw about half of it away because I had no where to keep it frozen. I kept some thawed to use within the next few days. I cannot believe that the repair person just ignored all my calls when he had promised me that he would return to try to figure out what was wrong. There were gaps on both sides of the seal of the refrigerator after he replaced the seal and the seal had a bumpy section. After we lost all the food, we were able to work with the freezer to get it to close all the way. apparently while he had the freezer open to install the seal around the freezer door, ice had formed somewhere keeping the door from closing all the way. we didn't see the ice that had formed though or we would have just removed it. once everything had thawed, we were able to get the door to seal. I would have thought that the repair person would have know that this would have been a problem. in fact, he told me that he had been doing repairs like this for many years, so I could be confident in his workmanship. so much for that! he wouldn't even come back and face me to say he didn't know how to repair the problem. So now I have lost half of a freezer full of frozen meat, vegetables, and frozen meals. Who is going to have to replace these items? Will Sears? I seriously doubt it, but I will request it. read more

We want a replacement or money back. A technician has came out numerous times and it still keeps freezing up. Technician said he can't do anything else. You people have not honor your end of the contract. They have replaced the parts that you installed. We have had scheduled appointments canceled after waiting all day. This has been going on for over a year. We keep making monthly home maintenance payments with no satisfaction. If you can't fix it they honor the contract. Technician says he's replaced the same parts and it still doesn't fix it. Honor your end of the contract. read more

James answered the questions that I had concerning my refrigerator. He was knowledgeable about the product and he was able to help.

I gave Sears a review a couple of weeks ago. Wish it could be 0 stars . Someone contacted me, supposedly Sears customer service here on yelp to fix my situation. I emailed them as they only gave me an email address. As of yet I have not heard from them. Well, we finally got our fridge fixed after threatening canceling our warranty they sold to us, no, our fridge at that time was not included but said we would get a discount. So the tech ordered our parts. Compressor bad and 2 other items, stemming from the compressor being bad. I have a 10 year warranty from LG on this compressor. Sooo, I need to have a receipt to give to LG that this was fixed, finally. Sears took $1,200 for repairs and parts out of our credit card, but as of yet I have not received a receipt. My husband called Sears and CSR said we will get it via email, that was last Monday. Today it's over a week later and still no receipt. My husband called Sears again this morning. After heated discussion he finally was transferred to a supervisor (supposedly he was a supervisor, but who knows). He told my husband again it will be in my email. I checked, even spam, nothing. Well, I guess we have to call our credit card and disputing the charges, which my husband told him we would, to get a receipt from them. What an awful company to deal with. It has been a nightmare and very stressful. I'm dealing with cancer and Lupus, shouldn't get stressed, tell that to Sears. I will NOT recommend Sears and highly discourage from using this company. You would we could expect better service from a company who has been in business for this long. But, stores closed, I wonder why read more

James was not interested in fixing my refrigerator. I'm not sure he knew what to do. I was without a refrigerator for 3 weeks. He didn't show up for 2 scheduled appointments and I told him the day of the official repair that the refrigerator was not working. I never heard anything else from him until I had to call my warranty company and complain. read more

The service person did a great job. He knew exactly how to repair my oven and did it quickly. Thank you so much!

I requested a repair on my garbage disposal. When the technician came in he said he thought it was a "garbage compactor". I had made it clear it was a garbage disposal. He said I would need a new one which I already figured. He did not have one with him and tried to order one on Amazon but said he could not get it into the Sears software on his phone. He also said he couldn't do the plumbing part of the repair, that Sears would not let him. Bottom line, I paid $105 for nothing. I ordered a replacement on Amazon myself and will have to hire a plumber to install it. Why does Sears have "garbage disposal" listed on their website under "Repairs" if they can't fix it? Very disappointed and won't be contacting Sears for any repairs outside of my home warranty. read more

Good afternoon, I hope you're having a great day. Mr. Michael B was very approachable, knowledgeable of his craft and a genuine delight to have in my home. He was very thorough and stated things in layman's terms as to where I could understand what was being done to my appliance. I greatly appreciate your service, your awesome Technician(s), and your time! read more

First, after I finally had my dryer repaired it has been fine. Here is the 1 star rating review: BLUF: Go with an independent repair service unless you're using free warranty work. Read the rest if you want details. Service was scheduled for Monday. I waited most of the day prior to contacting Sears. I was told they would check on the technician and contact me. A hour, or more, later they contacted me and couldn't locate the technician. He/she had about 4 additional calls they hadn't responded too. Sears requested me to reschedule. I did for a few days later. Here is the worst part; Sears would only offer me a $15.00 gift card for the inconvenience. A day of work missed ($$$$), another portion of the day missed for the rescheduled appointment ($$$$) and you're only going to offer the customer a $15.00 gift card. That buys 2-3 LED flashlights at Sears. They would not refund my service charge of $79.50. That was all I asked for. I knew I needed to pay for parts and labor; however, the Sears service charge should have definitely been on the house. Poor customer service Sears! Next time I'll go to an independent repair company. Customer lost! read more

I wish there was a lower rating other than one. This company makes Comcast look good. Their Call center is in Phililippines and they are useless. Tech that arrived did not seem to know how to work his hand held computer. Never gave me an estimate and when I called to get an estimate they told me that the tech was coming that day with the parts to install which was news to me. I rescheduled for the next week and when that tech showed up he claimed that they had never been to my house and he had no parts. I cancelled with them and two days later they overnighted me part I did not want. They are total idiots. Beware! read more
