The nice man said it needed some type of fuse and he didn't have one on his truck (?) and that the furnace needed a new burner and a complete examination after just 10 yrs service before putting it back in service at a cost of $$$. He suggested replacing the whole furnace ($$$$$). I must admit he was probably right, replacing only if the heat exchanger was badly rusted. They charged me for 3 hr labor ($80/hr) , including travel time. He was here about 30 minutes. I went on the internet, found the parts and fixed it myself ($). gave them 4 stars instead of 5 because they charged skilled labor rate for travel time. They are nice people.

He came out, had the necessary part on his truck, and fixed it in less than 10 minutes. My only reason for not making this a five star review was the time it took to hear back from him. We left a message on Thursday, but didn't get a call back until Friday. That meant the washer didn't get fixed till Monday (though then he showed up at exactly the time he'd promised). Not the end of the world, by any means, but a quicker return call would have been nice.

They scheduled him to be at my house today between nine and one. He never showed. When I called him to inquire why, I was very polite and he was rude from the get go. He stated he just got the service request and stated some dates that he could come out. He said "that's why I called you now". I explained to him that I called him and wondered when he was going to call me. He said very rudely, "I just got the service request!". I told him that he wasn't being very polite and he Yelled at me and said "forget it it's canceled" and hung up on me! When I tried to call him back he wouldn't answer. Please share this. This ass hat deserves no customers. Also, he is the only registered warranty repair man for Menards in the area. I wish I could post negative stars.

Full Disclosure: I did not spend money here. I really wanted to. It's hard to walk out of a lovely…read moreshop empty-handed. Cheesy, but my New Year Intention will be to revisit the yarn shop without the pressure of "this project needs this specific yarn!" hanging over my head. I was greeted immediately upon entry by two lovely folks. Sometimes in a craft shop - like a great bar - it's hard to know the employees from the comfortable regulars. The warm welcome was appreciated nonetheless. This is a quilt shop, which all of you sew-n-sews can enjoy. You have my respect, as I cannot even manage to replace a button without the fabric getting all bunchy. You crafty devils will appreciate the stock of fabrics and notions. It even got me thinking about lessons and classes. The yarn area is small but BOY! It's pretty and has a lot of my favorite brands. Sadly I had a specific project in mind and could not get my brain to make the math happen for substitutions. I will come back, buy yarn 'just because' and maybe even buy some buttons (justification to cast on for a sweater, amiright?).

We went there initially to order a part for a newer model dyson. The part took much much longer to…read morecome in than we were told and when it finally did arrive, turned out to be the wrong part. We also dropped off an older model Dyson that we use just as a backup in our basement so we don't have to lug a vacuum down the stairs whenever we need to clean down there. It ran ok, but we brought it in to see if they could get it running better. About a month or more later we got a call that it was ready and that we owed them $150 (that was with a "discount" that they were giving us). This vacuum was probably 15 years old and only used as a backup, there was no way we had intended to invest that much money into it, especially given that you can buy a brand new vacuum for that price. When we picked it up, we told them that we should have been given a quote beforehand if it was going to be so expensive, and they just said that we had supposedly agreed to pay whatever it cost to fix it, no matter what was wrong. That was definitely news to us. We paid them their money, but we will certainly never go back and would not recommend them to anyone.
