My girlfriends washer stopped working and so I checked for codes and replaced all that showed as…read morenot working. Afterward I rechecked the codes and all was clear. However, the washer still did not work. My girlfriend then called Hagan and Sons to come service and take a look at the washer. That was on a Wed. She was told it wouldn't be until Monday before they could get there. Meanwhile I researched what else could be the issue and took a logical and educated guess that the circuits board could be bad. During the weekend I told her to call off the repairman and I would just replaced the circuits board. Monday she was calling to cancel as Tom the repairman showed up. I heard her tell him she was calling to cancel the appoint. He just ignored her and walked into the house. He smelled like an ashtray. He then started picking up the boxes replaced old parts were in and just took them out and looked at them. He spent maybe 30 minutes looking at the washing machine and then told her it is the circuit board and then after that he'd have to check for codes as something else could be wrong but can't know until the board was replaced. He quoted $190+ to replace the board and told her if she wanted it done she'd have to pay now and then whenever the part comes in he'd install it. He then told her the part was on back order had no idea how long it would take to get and could be 6 weeks to months. I told her not to do it but get in writing the part number (after all she had to pay $90 for the service call) so she had paid for his knowledge and experience to know the EXACT PART # needed. It took several phone and voice messages to finally get the correct part number from as the part # given didn't match the part # on the washer. After he left she looked the part number up online found it within an hour ordered it at 1/2 the cost he was quoting and two hours later received an email notification the part had been shipped from Amazon. It took me only 20 minutes to remove the circuit board and have it out ready to be replaced. He told me nothing I didn't already know and can do. Just a waste of $90. Back in the day before the internet she would have had to pay for his service and everything in advance at his prices but not today.

The dealer out us in touch with a different factory authorized repairer and our problems were solved. We are a rental company in the Evansville area and do not recommend this vendor.

We were told he had stopped by, called both numbers, and got no answer to either. UPDATE - CSR called back and said sometimes the reps forget to dial the area code. BS! THEY LIED ABOUT TRYING TO GET IN TOUCH WITH US. Terrible customer service. I don't appreciate being lied to.

Both times I was contacted by a representative twice prior to my scheduled appointment to verify my appointment then again for any updates to the schedule. Both times the repair man was able arrive early. Both times the repair man was very polite and friendly. They carried booties and put them on to protect my floors. It turned out my issues were easy adjustments which was covered by the warranty.

Up to this point, my experience had been with appliance repair companies had been: Sears AI booking system was horrible!!!! The window 3 days out was 8-5. So, wait all day :( Appliance Pro having charged me over 350 to fix my washer and when it did not work after waiting for 2 weeks for the guy to come back with the part they wanted more money than the cost of a new machine to continue to repair. When I told them, I should probably just get a new one and asked if they could credit the part back not any of the labor since it had not been used. They said, no. So, I paid them and still had to purchase a new washer.

I called Mr. Applicance of Owensboro to repair the ice-maker on my Sub-Zero refrigerator. It took…read moremultiple trips to replace the ice-maker and also the freezer compressor that was overheating. There was also a minor issue with the fan. It then turned out that the new compressor was faulty, so another one had to be ordered to replace it (the company covered the replacement cost). Randy and his co-workers persevered though the various problems, showed up on time for each appointment, and I now have a functioning freezer and ice-maker. Hooray!! Randy was great to work with, always polite and punctual, and eventually solved the problem. Thank you for the great service.
