This Esso is a block away from ZeeV's Nutrition Studio. I tend to come here after getting my drinks and spending a bit of time chatting over there. I had no problem finding a free gas pump on a Saturday afternoon. My fill-up experience was pleasant and uneventful. The pump that I was at worked and was clean. I went inside to redeem my coupon and pay. I had a nice man at the front counter. I had thought about my experience redeeming my first gas coupon at the Esso in Cabbagetown. The man did not know how to redeem it and needed assistance from his manager. It was the complete opposite experience here. He took one look at the coupon and knew what to do. I got $1 off. I was happy and relieved! I scanned my PC Optimum card to collect points. I then used a credit card to pay. It was great. I haven't been back for fuel. However, I'm here at least once a week for Circle K's drinks and snacks. I had a great experience. Should I need to get fuel for my car or a car wash, and I am in the area, I'd drop by again. (369)

The low gas level warning appeared as I was heading down Kennedy Road, at the Markham-Scarborough border. Should I still stick with my original fuel plan or find a gas station nearby? I ultimately decided to do the latter when I saw this Petro-Canada gas station ahead on the left. I made a left turn and pulled in. I had no problem finding an available pump. I was pleased that that the gas price was four cents cheaper per litre than the gas stations in the vicinity. Go, cheapness! The area around the gas pump that I used was clean. I used my 407 ETR discount fuel card for the last time. It stopped issuing discounts to its customers during the pandemic, but I had a lot of litres left because I didn't travel all that much during this period. I save an extra three cents a litre off. I paid at the gas pump and also used my rewards points card. This gas station has a car wash. It also has a convenience store. I didn't need to use either during my brief visit, but it's good to know that they are there. I was pleased to have a full tank of gas in my car as I continued heading down to Riverdale. It was nice to drop by this gas station for the first time. I'd return again when I'm in the area. (415)

It's a busy intersection to enter/exit the station during heavy traffic times as drivers are in a rush to get off or back on the road with Hwy 401 just a few hundred metres north of here. The car washes now all rush you through and do not rinse the car clean and leaves a lot of soap residue that is blown up during the drying process. The back of your car will also have some lingering soap suds to bring home to play with. This location does not participate in the evening price drop that many other stations now seem to operate... but with the proximity to the 401/404 they get plenty of traffic to not pass on the extra incentives to come by during the evening lull.

I got a strong impression that he just wants the customers to pay and get out of the store asap without bothering him in any way. Oh, and the gas price isn't cheap either.
