After picking up my dress to begin alterations we noticed a stain that was not there when the dress was bought. The dress was bought in LaCrosse but when the Eau Claire location was closer they took the dress in and cleaned it better than it looked before. They gave me a handwritten apology for the inconvenience and thanking for trusting them to make it right and be a part of my day. They even went so far as to give a gas card for our extra drive time. Truly a bridal shop here for their clientele and to make brides feel special and beautiful.

Men- If you plan on getting a tux from them, make sure to stay on their butts. We were told we…read morewould get a price for the tuxes at least a month out to prepare for the cost, and we didn't. We were notified that our tuxes were ready a week prior, which is great, but there was no mention of the cost. MAKE SURE you plan for their resizing. I know this is common, but we had 9 people get their suits/tuxes from them, and they ALL needed to be tailored: either wrong shoes, wrong jackets, completely wrong size pants and shirts, a mix of everything, and one of my groomsmen was big, so they resized him and just sent him with two shirts to the wedding because they were still uncertain of his size. They even looked at us and asked if we got it fitted there because of how screwed up they were (which we did). We also informed them that we did not want pocket squares and/or cufflinks, which we ended up paying for because the groomsman didn't know what they were supposed to have or not. Now, on to the cost: it says multiple places that, all said and done, the tux rental would be $250 at the high end. Asking everyone what they paid at the end, there was a variety of answers, which seems odd to me. Everything from 295-320 was paid for the suits/tuxes. Also, make sure you look at their hours, which are wonky. Someone better be able to take them back on a Tuesday if you have a Saturday wedding, because they aren't open Sundays or Saturdays.

She was the coordinator for my oldest daughter's wedding day and was wonderful...but then couldn't help for my next wedding AFTER I already hired her. She sent someone in her place that I "assumed" would be comparable. The person she sent disappeared for a large part of the evening, for 8 hours I hired her and received next to nothing in return. Very nice lady.... But sat in the front lobby on her phone for hours, during dinner, and had to be messaged when needed. I did share this information with Amber who did apologize, but that was all I got...an apology and then zero response from my follow-up email. I paid $800 for desserts to be put out. for the ceremony, my daughter had to walk outside from one building to another...walking down a set of stairs to another set of stairs going up to the chapel... as she was going up the stairs with no help from the coordinator, her lace train began to tear. Not only did her dress tear, but she missed her entry into the chapel when her song began. Watching the bride, my daughter cry as she entered the chapel was very hard. I would expect some service recovery for the lack of service, but only got an apology.

The short story is THE WEDDING DRESS NEVER ARRIVED and most likely never was ordered. The owner, Andrea Stallman was incredibly deceitful to my daughter & I about the whereabouts of the dress order many times. We were told it was still being made, it was stuck at the distributor in Tennessee, and then she said we would have to work with another bridal shop, as she was going out of business. No attempt on her part to resolve. She never set 2nd bridal shop up for us and never offered a refund for her transaction FAILURE. She did not give 2 sh*ts about her customers. We needed to find the dress again at another dress shop and paid for the exact dress a second time. I am not holding my breath to get a refund. Did anyone else get taken by Andrea? My best friend helped me in and out of dresses so I actually had very little interaction with the girl minding the shop. She was kind and reasonably helpful -- I felt like maybe she was not as knowledgable as some bridal store employees. She didn't speak up much.
