The week before I had been to Cafe Sydney, a well known and loved fine dining restaurant in Sydney and I can say without a doubt that Summersalt is up on the same level as cafe sydney in terms of food and service. For starter I had Zucchini Flowers, they were tasty and cooked to perfection. For main I had the House Made Potato Gnocchi. The Gnocchi was cooked beautifully and the pesto and the pangritata sauce was out of this world I enjoyed every single mouthful. Everyone else really enjoyed their meals as well. Thankyou Summersalt for providing such a wonderful experience for my Grandparents 60th Wedding Anniversary.

There's plenty of seating there for small and larger groups. The venue is bright and open and you'll feel comfortable. The menu is certainly broad and you'll find your favourites like a bacon and egg roll, but also plenty of unique dishes too. We loved the truffled chilli scrambled eggs, served on toasted sourdough with mushy peas, lemon whipped goats cheese, cucumber, mint, crispy shallots & truffled chilli sauce. A really decent sized serving too. For the Avo on toast dish, we opted for the gluten free bread w/ zaatar, lemon olive oil, Meredith goats cheese, pickled beetroot & fresh mint. Another great dish was green goddess salad made with cos lettuce, smashed pea hummus, whipped goat cheese, green capsicum, olives, cucumber, sprouted beans & lentils, fresh basil, toasted pumpkin seeds & za'atar and the green goddess dressing. I wanted some protein and the waitress recommended I add the Sarah's Day skewers as they're nicely marinated. Good suggestion, for my already great salad had that extra flavour burst. For drinks, there's beers, wine, cocktails, smoothies and of course coffee. We enjoyed our experience and look forward to trying the Bondi store too.

Opah is family run business serving Greek food in a yum cha style. Located on Gerrale St, Cronulla, it's raised space allows seating inside or in the sun and a lovely view of Cronulla beach. It is a large venue with both a seated dining space and also room for cocktail parties. It would be great for an event as they cater to parties. At Opah you can order the $45 all you can eat yum cha which is great value for money. But you can order off the ala carte menu if that pleases you. Yum cha is half the price for children. The restaurant is fully licensed but you can BYO wine for your yum cha.   We were very impressed with the food and service at Opah. The staff were friendly and welcoming. All the dishes we had was well seasoned and we didn't need to add salt or pepper or any other condiment.   Presentation wise/plating, we felt that the little details of garnish on each dish went a long way and was very appealing to the eye. It made us excited to eat it. The calamari was a stand out and was delicious as it wasn't full of batter like most places and was quite light. The Tiropites had a nice balance of flavours with the saltiness from the cheese and the sweetness from the honey and the aroma and slightly minty flavour from the thyme.   The Spit Roast Lamb was tender and melted in our mouths, yum! We really enjoyed the Prawn but is no longer on the menu due to the high cost so they are using octopus instead.   The Greek salad was very fresh and well-seasoned and we enjoyed all three dips, couldn't fault anything.   The cocktail was very refreshing and nice combination of flavours.   The restaurant had a good vibe and was quite busy. We also liked the fact that the Yum Cha menu is a great way to try all the dishes and if the serving is not enough, you can always ask for more as it's all you can eat! We were advised that not everyone understands the concept and some people complained that the serving size was too small but the reality is that you can ask for more as it's all you can eat.   We highly suggest the yum cha menu as you can try lots of thigs from the menu and order more as you please.

Followed by a plate of some of the best grilled octopus that I have ever had- tender, tasty, with a nice sauce. Then, the main event- a huge lobster, with all the delectable meat removed, cut up and placed back in the shell- so tender and so delicious, especially with the Shallot Butter! It came with chips and a salad, both perfect side dishes. I ate my lobster slowly, to enjoy every tasty morsel. I had a nice glass of Sauvignon Blanc with it as well. Which means if you want a dozen as an entree it blows the price out quite a bit, but, minimum to order is 4 so you can keep the price down by ordering less. Still, a nice casual atmosphere and a good place to go for a lazy Sunday lunch featuring fresh and well-cooked seafood dishes with good service.

Our server provided excellent service. For appetizers we got natural oysters and scallops. Both were beyond amazing. It was amazing trying the scallops the way they were prepared. Me and my fiance both got Doyle's famous fish and chips with Barramundi fish which was Devine. The tartar sauce here is different than America and is so delicious. It almost reminded us of a deviled egg tartar sauce. For desert we got the tiramisu which was so fluffy and tasty. Definitely recommend dining at Doyle's!
