Nice little izakaya in downtown Chatswood with great service and a really inviting atmosphere. The prices also seemed more reasonable than what you'd pay at a similar place in the city. You can tell a good amount of time and thought go into the presentation of the dishes here, too. The food itself did not necessarily wow me by any definition, maybe with the exception of the couple of fried fish heads we ordered. But I'm guessing by Chatswood standards, this place probably ranks relatively high. A good choice if you like Japanese food and want small plate options other than sushi and sashimi.
