He made an appointment to visit me and then cancelled at the last minute. He rescheduled and never showed up. If these guys knock on your door ... do yourself a favour and send them away. I have tasted their steaks, scallops, shrimp and lobster. For frozen food, it was delicious. The convenience of home delivery is great, but you are paying for it in the price that you are being charged. I don't like that you have to pay over $100.00 per box to try their food. Their reps guarantee their food, but will only exchange or give credit. I have bought certified angus beef at a butcher in barrie, and the quality is the same, and the price is the same or sometimes a little less. I don't have to buy 8 or 24 steaks at a time at my butcher. Their seafood is good, but again, you are spending over $100.00 a box for shrimp, scallops , or lobster. It is frozen, and I can buy the same quality, frozen, in smaller quantities at places like Seacore or Johnny's Seafood in Barrie. Make sure you ask if you are buying farmed or wild caught seafood from them. If you like the convenience of home delivery and can afford spending the money per box, it's an okay experience. read more

As an old customer of iqf quality foods now Sealand quality foods. I was lied to by mike cavallari, he told me certain fish were wild caught. That the beef was grass fed and all of the chicken products are organic which isn't true at all! He's a liar and sells over priced food with big lies all day!! I asked him to prove that certain fish were wild caught and he couldn't. Such as almond crusted sole, potato crusted cod, Atlantic (sushi) grade salmon. Just to list a few, also scallops are from the United States not digby bay Nova Scotia. The only organic product is the chicken breasts. Nothing else. The food is way to over priced for a quality we get lied to about! Never again. read more

My daughter lives in Calgary and she uses IQF as delivery is very convenient. Salesman delivered when I was there and we had lobster for dinner the next day it was great. Very nice salesman good experience from my point of view. My daughter told me that the food is always good quality no matter what she gets. The cost of delivery is included in the pricing but that makes it the same as the grocery store, less the pain in the !@# effort to go there and stand waiting in lineups to pay. For a family of 4 the amount she had to buy seemed a lot to me but really its just 2 or 3 meals a box over a month so its not much repetition really. the selection is huge so the family loves having it right there to choose their next day dinner without going shopping. Having steak tonight and the kids picked fish for tomorrow. Look forward to the company coming to Vancouver. read more
