Whether in the quality of their photos, management of supplies, their dedicated cleaning crews, repairs, maintenance, or special care for each tenant, they were superb. Lucas was unbelievably skilled in getting max exposure to our rental, resulting in a revenue stream that was almost three time more than my management team in the past two years. The location and proximity/ access to downtown Portsmouth is nothing short of fantastic. After a long day, having my own spot to park, change and go downstairs for a drink or walk downtown, makes this one my favorite spots. Would highly recommend to anyone as the $/ value is very fair considering Portsmouth is a world class location that most anyone would want to live!

We were even more pleased with our stay once we checked-in and met the owners, Peter and Nick (brothers who took over, remodeled and updated their Father's family hotel). It was a pleasure to stay in such a lovely spot with such family history. Both men were helpful, accommodating and friendly. They did an amazing job remodeling the suites - wonderful linens, decor, washer/dryer, heated bathroom floors, outdoor seating and more! The only thing that topped the accommodations were the views and beach access (they provide beach towels and chairs for guests).

And if there's anything in particular that seems missing in the suite to make it "work," one has only to ask and it is likely to "magically" appear! As far as the property itself is concerned, the Lighthouse fronts on the miles-long, amazingly wide, hard-sand beach of Pine Point. It couldn't have been more perfect for the daily beach walking we love so much. But for us, there's been another very important element, one that has meant every bit as much to us as the accommodations themselves: the kindness and caring of the two brothers who own and run the Lighthouse. They're the only managers on site, and NOTHING is too much for them to do for the comfort of their guests. In a world where kindness is so very needed - and often so hard to find - Nick and Peter provide it in abundance, straight from the heart. It's impossible not to feel warmly welcomed, cared for, and happy there.

Knowing her as we do, I expected her to work hard and smart for us, but I was amazed at how knowledgeable she was through the entire process, telling us what we needed to know and helping us control all of the moving parts towards closing. It felt like she had been doing it for 20 years. Finding a home while out of state is complicated and at times difficult. Sarah did everything we asked of her and more. We sent her into a couple of houses to video for us that were more sketchy than the sales listing indicated, but she handled the filming and the tenants with humor, poise and aplomb. The house we settled on was far from her office, so we didn't feel she needed to do a last minute video inspection on the day before closing, but she did, and was with us the next day at the closing itself. As I mentioned, she went above and beyond for us. For example, after the appraisal came in $500 below the selling price and we or the seller would have to make it up, we decided on our own not to go back to the seller with yet another request. We didn't know that Sarah was looking out for us and had already approached the selling realtor, and they okayed the revised sale price. So Sarah saved us $500 with her initiative. And so, in looking back, I don't dwell on the irritating (but normal) setbacks during the closing process,. Instead my overall memory is how it was mostly fun and stress-free dealing with Sarah.
