Halfway through my first ride in town, I realized one of my pedals was loose and I had forgotten to put my multi-tool on this bike. Not wanting to damage my pedal threads I pulled into this shop hoping they would let me borrow tools. Lucky for me, these guys are great. I was a little nervous since I didn't have any money on me, but they were super friendly. Within a couple min of riding in, my pedal was retightened and I was on my way. This kind of courtesy service is a majorly positive signal for me from a bike shop. I have been denied similar favors in the past from other shops, but these guys didn't even bat an eye. Would definitely consider stopping in if I needed any bike supplies or services while in the area. read more

We stopped in for a bike lock. Mike set up the combination and installed it on the bike for us. While doing that, he noticed a break issue on the other bike we were hauling. In a matter of minutes, he repaired it. When I told him that something wasn't right with my seat, he said "be right back" and switched it out with a new seat. He watched me ride around for a few minutes to make sure everything felt good, then he handed us a map of the bike trails, recommended a ride to keep us in some shade since it was pretty hot out, and we were off. Amazing place and business. This bike shop cares about people and their experiences. We tried to get our bikes serviced at All Wheels in Rehoboth, however, we ended up going to pick up our bike before they even fixed it. All Wheels were extremely arrogant. They refused to even look at our bike. Mike at Sea Green was amazing! Sea Green took a look at our bike immediately and was able to make a quick fix and adjustment and out the door we went. I give this bike store 3 stars just because the young man who works here (probably the owners son) was so rude and has no respect for his customers. The other employees were very kind and extremely helpful! It's too bad this kid had such an attitude and really should remember that being respectful makes a difference and should go through his store every now and then and make sure your prices are correct on your merchandise instead of changing the price once you're rung up. Wonderful experience renting for the first time from SeaGreen. Easy check out process -- didn't even need to see my driver's license. They also reassured me it was OK to leave my car parked in their lot while I biked for several hours. Bike was in great condition, they gave me a couple of options with helmets and provided helpful guidance on biking. The bike was well maintained and the check in was just as easy as checkout (with no hidden fees or surcharges). Reasonable daily rate too. ($24 as of 8/2022.) Will definitely use again and highly recommend when folks come to visit. read more

Fantastic experience at SeaGreen today. Shopped during phase 2 of Covid-19 which is still restricted indoor shopping and limited product availability. Mason was prompt to greet us at the door and asked a couple of questions, then brought out the perfect bike. He also helped with a couple of accessories. Additionally we dropped off a 20+ year old bike for a tune up, and they were upfront that they are backed up for a couple of weeks on repairs, but let us leave it with them anyway. Great local shop and it's right off the bike trail, so test rides are easy and safe. I would highly recommend SeaGreen if you need a new bike or to bring an older bike back to life. read more

I ordered a Lectric bike online. It arrived damaged. The company sent me a replacement part and told me to replace it. That is not something I felt comfortable doing myself. They suggested I go to one of their partners to have it replaced. They recommended Seagreen. Seagreen did a great job. They replaced the damaged part, checked to see if anything else was damaged, and then did a complete safety check of the bike. The staff and owner there were helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. read more

Exceptional experience here. It was busy in the shop when we went to rent bikes but we were acknowledged by the staff and given a reasonable wait time (less than 5 min), which was great. A guy who I assume is the owner was great and gave us a quick tour of all the bike types and got us ready to go. He knew a ton about the area and where to ride, and he adjusted my seat for me and threw in two bike locks that we used when we stopped throughout Cape Henlopen State Park. He offered a map which I didn't take but if I were to do it over I woulda. Take the map! Our beach cruisers came with little pouches that were great for holding keys, phones, and sunblock so it was perfect for hopping on and going. I wound up putting my whole backpack in there for ease of riding. The pricing was slightly confusing but we rode two hours for less than $30. They sign the bikes out to you on good faith when you leave and figure out your payment when you get back. PS If you ride into the state park, it's free! read more

Sea Green Bicycle at Rehoboth Beach is one of my all time favorites. I've rented bikes from them many times over the years. This time, I (along with my family) brought our own bikes to the beach. We found an issue with one of the bikes. Upon arriving to the beach, we realized that mine had a flat tire. We took it to Sea Green on Saturday, April 20th, 2024, and were immediately greeted with friendliness and helpfulness. In fact, someone fixed my bike on the spot. The entire process took about ten minutes to diagnose and repair. This was after we had taken my bike to a shop on the main highway, were greeted in a less than enthusiastic manner and were told, "I'm not sure when I can get to it. You can drop it off, and I'll probably get to it tomorrow. I can't guarantee you a time when you can get it back." The guy presented as annoyed that we had walked into the store. Weird. Please go to Sea Green for all your bike needs with confidence. You will receive excellent customer service. read more

These guys (and gals) are just fantastic. The rentals are great when I have friends in town. Well maintained, clean, come with a lock, and a big pouch. My S.O. bought a gravel bike from then when he was in town. We both felt like it was an honest value, and a very nice bike. They helped me change out my rims and tires to tubeless on my roadie. It did not go smoothly due to manufacturers glitches. They put a temporary wheel and tire on so I could do my Century, while they figured out how to get the right rims and tires in, and installed. I have 5 bikes. I have spent some time in bike shops. I would never hesitate to have these guys work on any one of them. The tune ups are reasonable, the labor thoughtful, and the feedback honest. They are friendly. They remember my name. They always have great solutions, suggestions, and options, so that I never feel pressured into anything. I appreciate them, and will always go back. Every friend I have ever taken in there really likes it too... and that's more than a few. read more

Great customer experience!! I was looking for a new bike after just moving here. My husband and I went shopping here first and also at another local bike store. We arrived early to Sea Green after walking our dog. They were just setting up outside for bike rentals. We asked for a suggestion for a bike for casual trail and street riding. Eric (the owner) suggested several styles and explained the differences. I test rode one, but it felt too low for me. The same model came in a taller size. I rode that style and really liked it. I wanted to also check out the other bike shop too. We went to the other shop in the afternoon, but the customer service by most of the staff except Kim was either indifferent or unhelpful. So the next day we went back to SeaGreen, we were helped by another Eric and Kevin who helped with prepping the bike, my helmet and a light. So my husband and I went the next day for a ride on the trails at Cape Henlopen Park. My bike rode great! After the ride, my husband thought he would get a new seat and a tune up for his older bike. So we ended up going right over to SeaGreen. He ended up test riding a new bike. He loved it and bought it. He left his older bike there for a tuneup to have for when family or friends come over. We had a great experience renting bikes from them two years ago while on vacation. They were extremely helpful in getting bikes that fit for my family. When I told them my son had a junior road bike, they went into the back and pulled out a brand new kids road bike that he could use for the week. It made the riding a lot more fun for all of us. The bikes were in great condition and the rental included locks and helmets for free. Seagreen was 1000x better than the other bike rental place in Lewes, which had rusty bikes and terrible service. read more

The bikes were fine, I was very put off by the salesman had me test ride a bicycle that was made more for women (less sporty, not just a women's bike) and then proceeded to pretty much make fun of the way I rode the bike and told me "look up and make sure I didn't run into a pothole" because I was a woman riding a bike. Great experience with these guys on Sat June 29,2019. Everyone there friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. Everyone seemed happy to be working there. My adult son and I rented a bike for my son - fitted him well. Neither of us has ever been in the area and they were helpful with the condition of the route we were considering. Helped me with my "hot Foot " issue with appropriate shoes and upon our return with my decision to purchase wider pedals. They installed the pedals, oiled my chain, and discovered a frayed gear cable in the process, which I had repaired immediately upon my return to RI. Steer Clear! EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL! On Wednesday June 6, I took my rear bike wheel (wheel only.. it was removed from the the bike) into SeaGreen Bicycle to have the cassette and free-hub serviced. The younger guy (not the owner) took the order and told me it would be finished in a week or less (since I had already taken the time to remove it from the bike, etc.). He also told me someone would call if there were any issues or anything needed to be ordered. Today (a week later) after not hearing anything whatsoever from them, I called inquiring as to the status. A young lady answered the phone. I told her my name and what was being done. She put me on hold and picked up a moment later as she was now back in the repair area trying to locate my wheel. The owner was in the background saying things such as "we can't get it of the bicycle yet" .. "we need to order a part". I explained to the girl that it was just a rear wheel that was brought in, not a bike. The owner got on the phone and started to give me excuses. He said we needed to order a new wheel since the free-hub was built into the wheel and not removable. I said, yes, in fact, it is removable as it has been serviced several times before where I previously lived. By serviced, I mean routine cleaning and greasing. I also told him that his employee also indicated that someone would call me if anything needed to be ordered. He then said to me "well take this call as your notice we need to order a new wheel". I said "No thank you.. I'll be there in an hour to pick it up". I also told him "what all this means is you haven't really touched it at all yet, and this is just your way of making an excuse to why it's not done in the time frame I was told it would be done". He said "Fine. Come an get it". I arrive an hour later, only to find my wheel, laying outside on the ground, halfway in the parking lot!! It was in pieces.. just laying there in the dirt, outside of his shop! Extremely careless and unprofessional. This place is a JOKE. Do yourself a favor, and save yourself the wasted time and aggravation! read more
