Excellent activity during Covid time in August of 2020. They provided good bikes for our group. You can get to one of the trail from here at the state park about 15 mins ride away which was one reason I chose the location. Staff was friendly to explain the Bike usage and all bikes had a pouch for you to carry your phone or small items. Afterward you can just go around to the corner to enjoy all the food and restaurants in the area. After returning the bikes, we all got lunch at Mason Lobster Rolls which is literately 5 mins walk from Bob's Rental. read more

Rented two beach cruiser bikes from here for a day. Picked them up before 8 AM and dropped off prior to the end of the day (5:30 PM). We were charged less than a full day's rental. Bikes were in good condition and included a locking chain with key. The reason this is 5 stars for me is that the price here was way cheaper than other places I've looked in Rehoboth AND the bikes were in great working condition. My husband and I decided to rent bikes for a day while vacationing in Rehoboth with my family. We came across Bobs rentals which was well reviewed and well priced. We arrived around 8am and were helped right away. The bikes were in great condition with a front pouch to carry items such as a phone, snack, water bottle or keys. They also came with a bike lock and key if we went somewhere and needed to lock them up. We planned on returning them that evening and as a result, we were charged a great rate for the day. Riding a beach cruiser around a shore town is such a mellow pleasure. Rehoboth Beach is especially good for this due to it's slow driving and light traffic once you get off the main drag. Bob's is the perfect place to get your bike. $36 to rent a 5-speed cruiser for a week. They also have the traditional 1-speed cruisers, tandems and those side-by-side pedal carts. The price includes a lock and a basket if you want them. The guys that run the shop are incredibly laid back and didn't even request a deposit or credit card number to take a bike. The process of renting the bike took me about 60 seconds. Biking to the beach and saving on parking fees goes a long way to offsetting the rental cost. One thing to remember it that Bob's doesn't accept credit cards, cash or checks only. read more

The staff are extremely friendly. Closest bike rental shop to Gordon Pond trail. We had a group of 11 people and all got a bike with the desired height. My son broke the bike stand and they nicely replace with another bike with no charge. Will definitely visit again read more

We rented bikes to ride the Junction & Breakwater trail to Lewes. The staff were friendly, our checkout went very quickly, and the bikes were well-maintained. We were offered helmets and bike locks as well. I highly recommend this business. read more

Bob's Bike Rentals, August 11, 2016 I rented four bikes from Bob's for a short family ride (1-hr round trip) to Gordon's Pond and back. All four bikes were multi-speed cruisers, very comfortable and well maintained. About halfway into our trip my granddaughter's friend started to struggle from the heat. After a short time, her symptoms worsened and we called 911. The Rehoboth Beach Fire Department responded immediately (we were about 1-mile into the Gordon Pond Trail). She, accompanied by my wife, was taken to Beebe Hospital and treated for heat exhaustion. My granddaughter and I had four bikes to return to Bob's and both of us were getting tired from the experience, especially the excessive heat. I call Bob's and talked with Frank and he immediately told us to stay put he would come with a vehicle, bring water and transport us and the bikes back to the shop. Not only did he do the above, but he drove us to our car parked on Rehoboth Avenue, did not charge any overage on our 1-hr rentals and refused to accept anything for his efforts. Needless to say, but I will be returning to Bob's for future bike rentals. PS My granddaughter's friend was given an IV, had her blood checked and was released in 4 hours. Fortunately, she suffered no ill effects from the experience. read more

This place is the only place I will ever go to again to rent a bike in Rehoboth Beach. After a bad experience at Bike To Go, Lauren was immensely helpful and nice. Their rates are half of BTG's ($38 for the week), plus they give you a basket, bell, and lock! The bikes are perfectly serviceable for riding around in Rehoboth and Dewey (cruisers with coaster brakes). Five thumbs up!!!!! read more

Great value! We rented bikes for our 13 year old daughter and her friend for the week, and they were totally independent! Since it's 25mph everywhere and there are bike lanes, they were able to come and go as they pleased. Bob's also had the best rate..$35/week. Will def rent from them again. read more
