It's only been open several years. The pool was clean and relaxing, and the staff made us feel very welcome. It has one of the best designed traffic flows I have seen. You drive to the back, find your row, take a left and pull into your slot. Look on their web site if this doesn't make sense. It's super easy. Every site is a very flat concrete pad with plenty of room. All roads are asphalt and are in perfect condition. It's the easiest place to get into and out of that I have seen. They have all the expected connections at every site. No cable, but there are more than two dozen channels available via antenna. They pick up your trash. Super nice pool. Golf carts for rent. Places for kids and dogs. The grass is very nicely maintained. The place is secure with a real gate that they give you a card to open. Everything here is first rate. The staff was super nice. We got an Amazon delivery but we're off at Bald Head Island near closing time they called us about it and we said just leave it by the door... someone took the time to bring it to our site! While you are there, definitely take the ferry out to Bald Head Island. It's not far. I definitely recommend this place and honestly will say that it deserves more than five stars.

With recent forest fires in the area, my family, whom I am nearby visiting we're under a mandatory evacuation. I made one phone call to the owner of this RV park that I am staying at and they told me to say less they would have it handled. Not only did they have a cabin open And ready for my family when they arrived, but they had continued to concern and checked in on them repeatedly to make sure everything was all right. Several places say they treat their customers like family this place literally treated my family as their own. I could not be happierto highly recommend this campground. There is a small exhibit area about some of the animals, geology, geography, and history of the area. We hiked the 3 mile Sugar Loaf trail. It was more challenging than expected due to the sand. The weather was very pleasant the day we went in the spring. We saw quite a few other people enjoying the trail and having picnics. We heard a lot of birds including woodpeckers. The variety of trees and pinecones during our hike was fascinating.

They are not quite finished with all the new cable lines but it looks like that will be done shortly. The wifi is limited to just around the office area so don't expect any around the sites. Great cell coverage for both AT&T and TMobile since it is close to town. Some of the sites are long time leased so there is a nice "neighbor" base of people there. Located very close to an IGA grocery store and Walmart is about 5-10 mins away. We will definitely be back!

He was exceptionally personable and helped me decide which storage facility would be best for my needs. I let him know the date I would be coming to the area and to please make sure to have a climate controlled facility available to me. He did as promised. When I arrived Andrew was ready to lend a hand in helping my friend and I unload our truck. During the process, my friend fell ill, and Courtney the other employee at the storage facility made sure to come out with several bottles of cold water and help Andrew with getting all of my belongings out of our moving truck. I was extremely impressed with how well they packed the storage unit and took such care with my personal items. I have been back several times to the storage facility and each time I'm here the guys are always ready to lend a hand if I need it. I can't say enough positive things about my experience here and I will recommend A A Storage in Porter's Neck to everyone needing a place to store their stuff.
