The best crab I've had in 40+ years!!! So fresh and meat was sweet, not salty. Very fresh! The young lady at the counter was efficient & friendly. Good value even though Westport is rather touristy. I can't answer for any of their other seafood as crab (cooked) is all I purchased. I should have asked her to clean for me (not sure that's available). Great little seafood shop right on the water! The staff were super helpful answering our questions about crabbing. They do rent crab pots ($15 a day 7/2024) if you don't own your own. They have bags of bait fish as well. Current price (7/2024) is $3. You get 3 huge frozen rockfish! It was way more than we needed. . Their seafood looked very fresh. They had fresh smoked salmon/ The facility was super clean. They had a few little "gift shop" items as well. Will definitely stop in again. read more

Fantastic little shack on pier 8, they have a limited choice, but what they have is amazingly fresh and a good value. We went there twice over the weekend and got crabs and shrimp. The shrimps were the best I had in a long long time and the crab was also super delicious. They have them pre-cooked, makes it nice and easy for us. They also have different kind of fish, scallops and canned tuna, but we haven't tried that yet. We are excited to come back the next time and get some more fresh seafood. read more

We love going to Seafood Connection to grab super fresh seafood to grill up at home. Today we treated ourselves to a large fillet of Halibut...yum! And we can't resist their smoked salmon. Some are just too salty but Seafood Connection's is spot on and we can't get enough of it! We cleaned them out which isn't as greedy as it sounds as we left with about a pound...and it was gone fast as our kids love it as much as we do! I didn't get prawns this time it holy buckets they are HUGE here and so amazing. Anything you get they will put on ice but we are less than 15 minutes away so we don't bother with this unless trekking back to our home town. We usually make this our final stop after milling around the Marina, shops and lookout tower and it never disappoints. Today we even saw a charterboat docking from a successful fishing day as we trekked down the ramp to the dock...so cool!!!! read more

Bought some Dungeness crabs and a ling cod filet. The crabs were very good and the ling cod was amazing! Prices seemed very fair.

Okay, if you want to pick up some fresh oysters, salmon, tuna, crab, basically anything from the sea while you are in Westport...go here. Amazing. I got a whole Albacore tuna (whoops, I didn't realize actually how much fish that was going to be. Oh well, it was an experience) and for $3 you get to watch them filet it for you. Visited them today. Bought a dozen of oysters to try... they don't let you pick and they chose 12 very small oysters but charge full price. Also, the oysters are hidden from you (tucked underneath the ice in a bag). To be fair, the oysters were fresh and tasted good. I tried stopping by Brady's Oyster Farm nearby and it was 3X bigger in size for less expensive. They have their own farm onsite and the oysters tasted much better. read more

We do have a reference on that, as we unfortunately bought 70lbs from the Hustler in Westport earlier this month and their fillet work was not as clean. I ordered and received a bunch of Albacore tuna from these guys. Picked it up today and it is beautiful! They did such a nice job trimming it and their customer service is excellent! They even put the bellies in the bag and that was a first for me. I'm currently canning my heiny off and couldn't be more pleased. I highly recommend them as a tuna connection. The fish is good, but I won't be back. The girls they had working at the filet table were AWFUL. Especially the one in the sweatshirt with red lettering, grayish leggings, brown boots, and her hair in a tight bun. She was very rude to all of the customers there. I understand that that line of work is hard, but the way they were handling it definitely made me want to never come back. read more

We stopped by this place while in Westport. The shop is located right on the marina (#8 slip), and the building is literally on the water. You can get ahi, clams, shrimp, crab, etc, and they also can their own tuna as well. Pricing is pretty decent as well. Stopped here on our way home to pick up fresh crab to take back for some friends. Price was about half what it cost in my local Whole Foods market, and you know its fresh. My brother came out for a vaca last week. On Monday, we took the Miata over to Westport for a road trip. We were so excited to find the Seafood Connection on slip #8. The fishermen were bringing in tuna as we were buying our fresh clams, huge prawns and tuna loins. If you are in the market for nice priced FRESH seafood, I don't know how you could beat this place. We grilled the prawns and tuna on apple wood and swooned all night. The next night we steamed 6 pounds of clams to make linguine vongole. I'll remember this little place and I'll be sure to go load up on tuna to freeze during tuna run time. You can't go wrong! read more

We ordered 60 lbs. of tuna loins but got 54 lbs. of loins and 6 lbs. of tuna bellies. We were told they threw in the bellies and did not question it at the time. When we called later to ask about the shortage we were told that they would make it right. When they called back the attitude was totally different. No refund, no cooperation, no help. We have been canning tuna for over 15 years and this is the first time anyone has substituted bellies for loins. They may be good for smoking but we wanted loins. Not a very satisfactory outcome. We will definitely not be back. There are too many other places to get tuna to be treated this way. read more

I live an hour and 15 minutes away from Westport Wa. and twice I have ordered fish from seafood connection and the first time I drove half way there and decided to call and they didn't have my fish and that was a waste of money and the second time I ordered 12 pounds of rock fish and one tuna fish more than a week in advanced and I called the day before pick up and they didn't enough ordered my rockfish and they didn't call me or give me a email so I would have wasted 30 dollars in gas and my time for 40 dollars of tuna .In my eyes I don't trust them , cause they don't care enough about their customers. I would have been a good return customer if they would have treated me wright. read more
